Disappointed staying

Spend three nights with my 14y son in Hotel Oliver. First we got room 107 in lowest floor. Room was small, low sealing and had a small twin bed. No hand towels and just one sleeping coverblanket. We asked for more towels and cover for extra blanket and also an adapter which I forgot home, got all of these from reception. Bed was too small for two people, and also very uncomfortable to sleep. Walls were thin as a paper, heard neigbours partying and having loud sex. There was only ice cold water from the shower. After first night I said about the water and some lady just came and run the water 10 minutes and said it was ok. She said someone would come and take a look, but no one came. In the evening we had again ice cold shower. The second morning I said about it again and now asked for another room. We got room 21, small but two single beds and warm water! The last night was okey. They serve breakfast to tables; hot drinks, juice, toast with jam, butter han and cheese, also cereal or granola. Breakfast was okay, but boring. Last morning we went to near pub and had good english breakfast. Usually I want to say positive feedback and see the world through pink glasses. I’m very sorry to say, that staying in Hotel Oliver was a disappointment. Gladly we got different room for last night, it saved a lot. People in reception were nice and helpfull, I believe that they did their best (except the first lady who just run the water). Unfortunately I can’t recommend Hotel Oliver.

MAL FUNCIONAMIENTO DE LA APP HOTELS.COM (EXPEDÍA)

Mi experiencia ha sido penosa, pero por CULPA de la plataforma de EXPEDIA. Su app no registró una noche extra que reservé porque a mí no me aparecía al abrir la app y con el miedo a quedarme sin hotel hice una nueva reserva, con la sorpresa de que al llegar al hotel sí estaban las 2 reservas pero no el hotel NI EXPEDÍA, auténtico responsable, se hicieron cargo, no me quisieron anular una reserva y tuve que pagar las 2 noches disfrutando solo una. Reclamé a la plataforma 2 veces y muy buenas palabras pero NO HAN HECHO NADA. NO VOLVERÉ A CONTRATAR POR EXPEDÍA. Gracias por nada

Nice clean hotel, staff very pleasant. Fairly basic breakfast but enough. After checkout and a day out and about, we were kindly offered to help ourselves to a cup of tea before heading home, which was a nice touch.

Lovely hotel, a bit dated though, room small but clean, ideal as solo trip, but could do with a fresh up, bathroom, shower/bath really clean, staff very friendly & polite, hotel ideal location, plenty pubs, fast food places for eating out & earls court station 10 min walk, ideal for getting about, would recomend for short stay & on a budget

Hotel was fine, Bed was a tad lumpy and the room was very small, bathroom has a "doorway" so small you have to turn to your side to get in. But i was only staying the night so it was cheap for the area. The furnishings were kinda beaten up. Woman on the front door was nice, quickly checked in and explained everything. I probs stay again if i was in the area for just a night again

Nice Hotel In The Centre Of London

Great location for Earls Court and Kensington. Cosy room with a comfortable bed and all the facilities. Lovely breakfast to set me up for the day. The breakfast staff were very friendly. Nice clean and relaxing hotel. I would certainly stay again if I am in Kensington.

Lovely staff and nice little budget hotel :)

Three friends stayed at this hotel for 3 night. I must say that I was very please with the hotel. It is very nice and clean. The staff are very lovely!! And they sure give the extra mile to ensure we were looked after and support us as for example to allow us to a late check out as we wanted to experience a bit more of London before we said good bye. They were always supporting i.e. if we needed more towels or tea bags, more toast in breakfast so all good. The only think I would say is the shower was good but the drainage of the shower was a bit of an issue as you were stepping into the water for previous showers from your friends. So that is the only think I would change. Other than that the price was good! And the continental breakfast was just right to start the day. Thank you for all the attentions for us we are considering to come back soon.!
