You get what you pay for, but the curtains let in every but of daylight so it was impossible to make the room dark from about 5am onwards.

I would not recomend this in any way, even if it is an affordable price when it comes to London. That the hotel charges GBP 5 to store your luggage, and when you get back to the hotel in the evening for check in, and the luggage is still in the reseption with noone there, and 3 steps from the sidewalk, that is not good customer service. Rooms felt dirty, sheets had stains, even if it looked like they had been cleaned, and the matress should have been changed before it had gotten that much stain colours. Rooms were also poorly maintained in general, and carpets in hallways smelt, looked and felt dirty. So even for a low price hotel, this is bellow any standard.

Awesome location near Paddington station. Certainly not a big or boutique style, but definitely a good place for a few nights. Sadly, elevator stopped working during check out and narrow staircases were a challenge for five flights. However, staff were great and assisted with luggage.

The location is great. Right in the middle of London and within walking distance of a lot of fun touristy stuff. But the hotel itself id ugly and old. The microwave has RUST inside so you can’t even heat anything up. The walls are falling apart. The floors are creaking. It’s ugly and unhygienic. I’d stay there again only for the location but that’s nearly it.
