Very nice, clean, but under renovation. Our room was great except there were holes in wall where they had taken lights out. There were no new lights beside the beds. The breakfast room was nice but no hot food offeted.

The hotel was spartan at best with very few amenities. For example, there were no bedside lamps, but holes in the wall where they should be. No coffee pot in the room (which is usually a standard wherever we go). The property was being renovated — I wished we had been told when we made our reservation as we would have gone elsewhere.

The hotel is being renovated, so there were boxes all over the lobby. The check-in person was not friendly and I had to ask for basic information. When I asked for complimentary water bottles, I was told there was no water nor any vending machines due to the renovation. No water in the entire building! That is unacceptable. The room was outdated and had an unpleasant smell, but the beds were okay.

The hotel was being renovated and we were not informed about that until our arrival. It was only an over night stay so we were going to deal with it. BUT when the ice machine did not work on our 4th floor room we went to the ice machine on the first floor and it didn’t work either. The manager was there and was not one bit apologetic. Went to Walmart to buy ice.

The hotel is undergoing major renovations. The lobby and entrance areas were both under construction - materials were out, and as expected with construction, dusty. The front staff was not very welcoming. The elevator was dirty with tissues/napkins balled up in the corners. The AC in the room did not work.

This property is terrible, even before you check in. On top of that, they ask for a $250 deposit at check-in. I paid $140 without living in there. The Front desk people were super rude.

Starting with the good, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the furniture was in good condition. Right now though, there are major renovations happening at the hotel. The elevator had a serious clunk when going both up and down, which was a little unnerving. There’s a lot of road noise from a nearby highway. On the fourth floor, the Internet did not work at all. It worked fine on the first floor. And the shower took a full 7 minutes to get warm enough to make it usable. Guessing once the renovation is done this could go from a 7 to a 9 rating.

I m a night nurse and told them about my situation at front desk, she gave me very quiet room. Also let me check in early so I can get some sleep befor my shift. Clean, great staff but not so great breakfast ,that was just enough for me. 12 hrs night shift so eat something and go to clean bed. I have to be at Lynchburg every week so I know now where to stay. Thank You
