Worst experience

I didn’t stay at this hotel. I checked in and when I got to my room the curtains were ripped, the lights didn’t work, the bed was hanging half off the bed. And there was stains everywhere. There was a lot of broken down beat up cars parked outside of the hotel as well the service was horrible. I asked for a refund and they told me they could only refund $40 even though I didn’t stay any of the nights ….

Best overall experience in a while.

The staff is all amazing. Especially the day shift ladies!! Quickly accommodated me when I needed to check in fairly early. I had to pay the early check in fee. But so worth it. They worked with me daily when I needed to book another night. Very personable and down to earth. I managed a retail store for many years and by far this has been some of the best customer service I have experienced in a while. Clean, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Breakfast is worth getting up for. Quiet and peaceful even the nights that they were fully booked. Lubbock is home but I travel for work now. I come home 1-2 times a month and I definitely found my new temporary home here when I do come back.

I was checked in to someone else’s room or room that hadn’t been cleaned and this was at 10 pm. Kind of scared me going in someone else’s room and then the second room couldn’t get in because the door knob was installed upside down that was weird. After breakfast key did not work to get back in my room (electronic key). Floors were pretty dirty in hallways like coffee or soda spills but the price was descent get what you pay for. Hotels app was supposed to give me 10% off and that didn’t happen either. Uber wanted 46$ to go 12 miles from the airport so try lift close to half the price.

Great minus that male night front desk.

Everything was great except the fact that when my husband got off work and asked for towels he was rudely and quickly told we don't have any. We forgot to ask for towels that morning and stayed for 3 days, but the night male front desk person could have been more accommodating. Other than that breakfast was great and other staff were very helpful.

Didn’t like the fact that the bed spread was filthy. There was something white dried upon it and it was dusty. We requested to have it cleaned the next morning when we saw the cleaning lady. This is when things get strange. The bed spread was cleaned then put with the used sheets that were at the foot of the bed. Why was the bed not made or the bedspread left folded on the bed. And to make things worse the new jeans my wife was going to wear to my aunts funeral on Friday had walked away. We were hoping she didn’t pack them, but once we got home and confirmed they were gone. I guess that is what happens when you try to give a person the benefit of the doubt. Now I wish I did go to the front desk and confront them……Well I’m happy we left a day early and went to another hotel instead of finish the Christmas there. There was also a large stain on the couch… I can only say the front desk people were nice.
