Easy check in and out, lifts excellent. Parking (pre booking requisite, £12.50 daily, charge to room). We could see our car from our room on the second floor. The room was too hot for us throughout the night, adjusting the controls helped somewhat, however as our stay was only one night we managed but I would have sought assistance if we had stayed longer. Room 228 needs a mattress replacement, as you can feel the springs and it’s a mattress I call “boney” as it has no top padding to talk about. I think it could have felt worse to us, as we’ve just returned from NYC where in our experience beds in USA Hotels in general are enormous and always amazingly comfortable. Bathroom excellent, Breakfast not a complaint there, decor immaculate, finish, bedding and flooring all very good. Super clean back stair case that we noted as outstanding. Decent pillow selection in our room, but sadly my partner and I chose the same pillow (and I have way to his choice in the end) as the other three pillows were too soft for us.
