Checking process was super stressful. The person checking us in was trying to tell me it was not possible to split the billing with two cards (2) I spent 30 minutes schooling him on how to handle since I work in Hotel accounting. The extra fees from what I saw in my Expedia reservation changed on property. The staff specifically Valet were extremely helpful and friendly. Front Desk Staff is stiff and not friendly AT ALL!! House keeping kept our room clean but we still saw 2 roaches in the kitchen. And to top it all off, I checked out on 10/18 and they still have not reimbursed Me a $1,000 deposit charged on check in, that was supposed to be a HOLD NOT A CHARGE. I went to Estancia with Big expectations for the kind of money we paid per night $800 plus per night. Not happy and will not recommend at all.

Was is a scam or just plain stupidity? Don’t fall for the free breakfast or all inclusive dining options either, that’s a scam as well! Don’t charge anything to the room or you’ll get scammed there as well, what they quote for spa services is not what they actually charge!

Very nice accommodations from the kitchen to the bathrooms. Clean and at this time mid the year occupancy was low, so the pool and restaurants were not crowded. If we traveled again, we would stay farther down the coast and away from town in a smaller type property.
