Highly enjoyed my stay at the Charlesmark! This is a prime time location especially for travelers intending to walk everywhere. Staff was always available, helpful and friendly. Plus i was able to check in early- no problem. The room itself was just what i needed! Ill definitely be returning next time im in Boston!

This a great hotel in the heart of Back Bay, so you can comfortably walk to just about anywhere. Super cool that’s it’s located directly across from the Boston Public Library! Great recommendations from several staff members about things to see, visit, food to try, etc.. We will definitely have to keep this one on the list for future visits.

We wanted a nice hotel within walking distance of the Back Bay Boston Amtrak station. We got a great price from Hotels.com. The Charlesmark Hotel fit the bill. We really enjoyed walking around the Back Bay Area - we saw the Public Garden, the Charles River and we loved the 20% discount we got from the Landwer Cafe, though there are other great restaurants nearby.

The Charlesmark wasa "find". Great location 3 blocks from the Amtrak Back Bay station: within a block or two of Metro stations; next to a very good sushi cafe: and attached to a really good Middle Eastern restaurant. And the staff was exceptional.

The place is in a great area. The staff was great. The rooms are small but very functional. In my room, the air conditioning unit would make a pounding noise when it cycled down so I was up 5-6 times in the night. Also the toilet was running so I had to get up once to jiggle the handle. I feel like this may just be one of those things and not representative of the normal. I did report this. We stayed in room 301. If not for those issues, I would have given a better review.
