The hotel was perfectly sited for exploring Arras, and parking was good. Our room was a little dated but functional.
The disappointment was the food, not what we expected from a 4* hotel calling itself gourmet.
I had the fixed-price menu. The meat was good, but the same salad appeared on both courses, rather than other vegetables.
From the a la carte, the starter scallops were fine themselves, but floating in an unidentifiable watery liquid. The veal course - the veal had obviously been cooked much earlier, then sliced up and reheated.
Altogether a disappointing meal, not worth the money. Fortunately the wine was good!
