Room 229: There is definitely room for improvement in certain areas. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was down from the time we arrived on Friday until we checked out on Sunday, which was quite inconvenient. At check-out, I inquired about any possible compensation. The front desk staff member initially informed me that she couldn’t authorize anything herself and that I would need to speak with the manager, who was not available at the time. She did, however, provide me with his contact information and informed me that she was able to waive the parking fees. Therefore, confirming that the $100 deposit held on my card would be refunded. She also stated she would leave a message regarding there being no wi-fi service during my stay
In terms of the room, there were a few maintenance issues: the bathtub appeared worn and in need of refinishing, so I used slippers while showering. Some of the bathroom floor tiles were loose and should be re-adhered. The toilet paper on the holder was not replaced with a fresh roll—it appeared half-used, which was not ideal. Additionally, the walls were quite thin; when the A/C turned off, my children and I could clearly hear activity from the neighboring room, which was uncomfortable. I ended up turning on the TV to mask the noise.
Despite these concerns, the hotel stay met our basic needs.
