It’s ok.

It was good but not great, the shower is terrible in which I mean it doesn’t get hot and has no pressure at all. Also, it is a super busy hotel with tons of kids so breakfast this morning was chaos and you had to wait in line for everything to be refilled. It’s also super close to universal so that would be convenient for anyone staying there. We just stayed over night on our way traveling, in the plus side the beds were comfortable!

Near to universal

We stayed as a family of 4 because it was near to universal(35 min walk to universal studios) and had 3 beds in the room. Hotel was fine, a little tired but as expected. Breakfast was typically American; full of cakes and plastic plates. It was very busy at breakfast, they could do with more seating. We drove to restaurants as they were all least a 15 min walk down busy road. Overall very convenient for universal.

Antecipted checkin was allowed with great kindness. Although the hotel was very full not to stay it was actually crowded, I was placed in a n excellent room with front view to the pool. Service at concierge very respectful and patient to wait for me to adjust credit card limits and go through security measures. Room service system was shut down which made me go downstairs, but the service was really quick to attend my order despite it was almost 11p.m. Parking is full late at night, but after a while there’s always somewhere to stop near your room. Excellent experience.

Budget hotel near Universal

I stayed here because the reviews made it sound great but it was honestly subpar. The hotel is run down, carpets are old and stained, overall dated looking and could use a renovation. We also stayed because there was a hot tub, but we were very disappointed after hustling from the parks to get there before it closed to find out it was out of order. We were really looking forward to it after 2 full park days. The breakfast was just okay, the eggs seemed powdered. The waffles were good but it was a hassle having to make them ourselves. That whole station was a mess. The batter came out super slow. We were on the first floor and could hear the waffle makers beeping all morning during breakfast when we were still sleeping. This is a pet friendly hotel, so be warned if people in your party have allergies. The third morning my husband’s allergies were going crazy (he is allergic to cats and dogs). There was a shuttle offered to go to the parks, but you had to make a reservation, in person, at least a half hour before it departed - IN PERSON AT THE HOTEL ACROSS THE STREET. Like, what? Have they not heard of phones? They also had only 3 rides/times to go the parks in the morning and 3 in the evening to return, but way before the parks closed. So needless to say, we did not take advantage of the super inconvenient shuttles. Next time I will spend a little more to stay somewhere nicer.

New Orleans Road Trip

seems like I rate alot of the multiple places we stayed in with excellent reviews. but seriously, all your looking for is a quiet, clean place to stay. Between the friendliness of reception to the breakfast buffet this place was great. Comfy bed, soft sheets, large bathroom counter, water in the lobby, bedside clock (seem to be disappearing elsewhere). we stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the property behind, to walk our dog along. we used Ubur to Universal as the shuttle just wasn't that convenient. Recommend and will stay here again
