The hospitality at the Inn at Northrup is top notch. We have stayed in several Portland hotels and this is by far the most friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and fun. The room wasn't the fanciest compared to other hotels, so if you are looking for that sort of thing, this may not be the place for you. But for us, the charm, the staff and the location made up for any of that.

Location was excellent with easy access to the tram and lots of amazing restaurants! Hotel was nice with easy parking. Just be careful not to park near large cars and trucks because I ended up having large scrape of red paint along the back tire well of my car as a departing gift.

Room was clean and decor is very colorful. 2 queen beds and still plenty of room with the kitchenette! Loved the small loveseat and chair, dishwasher, amenities included. The continental breakfast was definitely more than the typical continental breakfast. There was always fresh fruit offered, yogurt, instant oatmeal, cereals, as well as all bread offerings, including bagels! Juices and coffee and very welcoming dining room! I would definitely come back for another stay at the Inn Northrup Station when visiting Portland! Also…location is very convenient and the streetcar is great!

Great place to stay, starting with the friendly staff when we checked in. The daily breakfast was basic but the continuous coffee bar was great. Every other day housekeeping was great. The hotel was quirky, clean and the room had everything needed for an extended stay. On site parking was a plus with a location close to numerous shops and restaurants. This is an excellent Portland choice for lodging, in charming NW Portland. Great shopping and restaurants in the area, and the streetcar makes all of downtown Portland easily accessible. Parking is included in the reservation. The rooms are well designed with every amenity.

The Inn at Northrup Station is my favorite hotel. My husband and I have stayed there many times. The rooms are spacious with great floor plans: two queen beds, kitchenettes, and couches. I love the imaginative decor. And the neighborhood is great--many restaurants and interesting shops. Plus close proximity to forested urban parks with miles of trails.
