Wonderful stay, amazing beach hotel

Fantastic stay. We had a double bedroom apartment overlooking the beach. Everything was wonderful. The beach is stunning, the facilities are great. Housekeeping (especially Rena) was excellent. Beds and the apartment as a whole were very comfortable. They even left a beautiful gift basket of local products for my birthday- a lovely and thoughtful gesture. The only minor point, is that the bathtub in one of the two bathrooms was a bit old. But otherwise absolutely everything was A++

Bien mais peut mieux faire!

L’endroit est très beau! Ça manque clairement de services pour un 4 étoiles! Pas de « service du linge » par exemple! Certes il y a une buanderie gratuite a disposition mais il y a qu’une machine pour tout l’hôtel! Déjà qu’il faille faire sa lessive, il faut en plus avoir la chance que la machine soit libre! Le petit déjeuner est très bon mais cher! C’est à la carte, moi qui suis un petit mangeur j’en ai eu tous les matins pour 31.50 pour une personne. Un matin j’ai par contre attendu 35 minutes pour être servi alors que j’avais précisé que j’étais pressé! À la réception ils ne connaissent pas les horaires du petit déjeuner! Une fois on me dit qu’il commence à 7h alors qu’il commence à 7h30 une fois on me dit qu’il termine à 9h alors qu’il termine à 10h30! L’ensemble est bien, mais les détails au vue des étoiles et du rating, je trouve qu’il y a du potentiel d’amélioration!

Our Family vacation, June 2025

Our family of five really enjoyed our stay at Grand Case Beach Club and would happily return there next year. The beach area with the beautiful turqoise blue waters is very safe and inviting. If you wish to relax and unwind this is the place for you. All of the hotel's staff have worked at Grand Case Beach Club for years and they do an excellent job and are very friendly and personable. The small town of Grand Case is a ten minutes walk (give or take) with a wide array of shops and restaurants.

A piece of heaven!

This is our 4th time returning to GCBC. We adore our stay here. The room is comfortably furnished with a gorgeous view of the turquoise water from the patio. Basic kitchen needs are supplied. There's a cook top, oven, & full sized refrigerator. Steps away from super comfy lounge chairs, another few before swimming or floating in crystal clear water! Sublime! Dozens of superb restaurants to choose from nearby. The staff are friemdly and accomodating.

The resort itself was lovely and our villa was spacious. though we were not given the original room we had reserved with a king and two double beds. We managed to make it work with the two king beds on two separate floors. When brought to their attention, the resort mentioned they did not have that type of room available, so that was unfortunate. Safety was paramount with gated access and security guards. We never felt unsafe. In fact, I would recommend the resorts for families looking for a non traditional European type stay (vs the commercial properties on the dutch side of the island). The pool seems like an afterthought- no bar/food service or staff there. Just lots of post construction empty spaces. The beach was the nicest on the island and the beach service was spectacular. access to Grandcase was relatively easy via car, but I would not say the property is walkable to any destination. I would not do this trip without renting a car. having said that (and I understand this can happen anywhere) My husband and I ate one small meal at the sunset Café of their tapas platter and three hours later I was struck with horrific food poisoning violently vomiting Three hours after that the same experience plagued my husband. The hotels response was minimal at best, offering us Gingerale, and indicating that the food on the top of platter was cooked fresh that day. I don’t doubt that it was cooked that day, but perhaps the storage of their food needs to be reevaluated.

Beautiful hotel, great location and amazing attentive staff. We had the best time and our room got upgraded. Perfect location for snorkelling or just relaxing on the beach. Great water sport facilities and early morning yoga too. Food at the restaurant was decent, but breakfast service was quite slow during the Easter period. Hotel is about a 20min walk to restaurant row but recommend getting a car as the hotel is tucked away at end of Grand Case so driving to eat/shop etc is just more convenient (less than 5 mins) and you can explore the the island and other beaches.

Grand Case Beach Club, a gem on the French side. Beach front property, amazing “Sunset” restaurant, beautiful turquoise waters and a 7-10 min walk to the main strip of excellent dining options. Second time at this resort and SXM deff has a warm place in my families heart:)

Just finished our stay at Grand Case Beach Club! It was so wonderful. Both beaches accessible from property are some of the best in the whole island. Staff is super kind and helpful. There are lots of good dining options in the area. The restaurant at the hotel is also very good. The restaurant staff are all super friendly. We really enjoyed this stay and we will be back again !
