Belfry House hotel is a cute and cozy boutique hotel in the Lake Geneva area. The facility itself is excellent - clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff is also friendly and helpful. The only caveat I can think of is that there is nothing right around the hotel in terms of activities, shops, restaurants, scenic attractions, etc. So while it makes a very comfortable base from which to explore the area, you will need a vehicle or rideshare to go anywhere or to go see or do anything. It's 5-10 miles from the town of Lake Geneva, a couple miles from Williams Bay, and 2-3 miles from the Geneva National golf course and resort. The hotel does have an on-site restaurant, which is excellent, but check the hours; they are not open for all meals on all days.

I loved the location and hotel. It looked beautiful and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that my room had no closet. Belfry knew I was flying in to attend a wedding, and I booked 365 days prior. My friends' rooms had closets. We had 2 wall hooks but no hangers. There was an iron in the room but no board. I had to iron my husband's dress shirt on the floor. The next day I requested a board, which the hotel thought was already in my room. Muffins in the lobby were delicious. Complementary bottle of wine was appreciated. There is no pool. Not sure I would go back. Many great hotels in LG.

Was a very cozy experience. The roaring fireplace in the lobby and in the suite made us feel like we were at home. Heated bathroom floor and complimentary muffins, snacks and wine were a treat. Would definitely stay here again, we highly recommend for a romantic getaway.
