We recently checked in to room 109 to attend my husband's sister's memorial services. Our room was literally WET and covered in mold. Our socks got wet from walking on the floor that never dried for the two days we were in it. It also reeked of mold and mildew. We asked to change rooms the first day and they told us the hotel was fully booked, but someone would do an extra cleaning. We came back, and nobody even cleaned the room or made the bad. Everything we brought with us reeks of mildew. We asked for a different room the second day and were told the same thing. Our friend who was also staying in the hotel checked out on our third day and we asked for his room. The man at the front desk literally ignored us to mop the breakfast area and told us to come back later, so I left a note saying we checked out of 109 and needed to check into room 216 when we got back that night. The woman at the front desk our third night was very apologetic, but said she couldn't refund us-that she asked her manager and we had to go through hotels.com. Everything we have stinks of mildew. There was mold ALL OVER the room. The doors, the outlets, the lamp shades... We ran the AC the entire time to try to dry it out and nothing worked. Our towels from the first night were still wet on our third morning. This room is going to make someone very ill and is not fit for people to stay in, let alone pay for.
The fact that it's a handicapped room makes it all the worse.
