Construction happening on both sides of the building, oceanfront rooms are more “pool front” than ocean front. Building is short, overshadowed by each building on its sides. The hotel is very old, the other residents were rude, the pool guy threw a fit and yelled at me for taking towels off empty beach chairs, got in my face yelling and took the towels from me. I paid 800$ for one night

The view that I paid $3000 for overlooked a tacky roof. The hotel next-door was doing construction. I was sick in my room for a week, listening to the banging. The only thing that saved my whole day were the employees with their kindness the room service checking in on us to make sure we were OK, but the amenities itself were not worth the money that I spent.

Wonderful stay! Old school hotel with a personality, charm and southern hospitality. My room was very clean, updated, pretty and had every single little thing you can think of. The mattress is comfortable, bedding and towels are crispy clean, personnel is top notch, and the location is superb.
