Great Location, But Needs Maintenance

The hotel has a lot going for it—private beach access, a clean pool, friendly staff, and easy check-in and check-out made for a welcoming start. However, several issues affected the overall experience. There was no breakfast, the toilet was clogged, and no in-room phone made it hard to request help. We also had no towels provided I had to go in person to the lobby to get them, a non-working freezer, and a rusted microwave. Additionally, there was mold in the room and leakage from the ceiling due to water from upstairs. With some attention to maintenance and basic guest needs, this hotel could be a truly great place to stay.

We were east most room right next to an open air restaurant that played really loud music very late and a snake could crawl through the crack between door and door casing. Ask to have room cleaned and it never happen.

Sweet 16/18 birthday trip

I was very pleased with hotel and location. I asked for housekeeping on Thursday for Friday and never got it then asked for housekeeping on Friday for Saturday and they came but left because our kids were in the room. So never had housekeeping the whole time. Found a cracker under the bed we did not have. Only one trash can in the room. Second one in the kitchen would have been nice. Staff were very nice. Asked about a microwave and they brought a brand new one. Very thankful for that. Nice location. Nice having swimming pool out our front door and ocean out our back door. Very helpful having a kitchen in the room. I would recommend and stay here again.

Great stay, TERRIBLE parking, Poor cleanliness

Our stay was great. Great view and easy beach access. Cleanliness was poor due to room floor was disgusting and ceiling in room had many wet spots. The pool was green and not inviting at all. Service was good though. Parking is TERRIBLE, my husband had to wait nearly 15-20 mins yo find a spot as many prople just circle parking lot over and over till somone leaves. (They share parking lot with restaurant nect to them) they have a overflow lot but its down the street from hotel . Great food option though as you have two main restaurants on each side of hotel.

Horrible place. The staff was friendly.

The only good thing to say was staff was great. We usually stay in a Condo but wanted try something different and not doing that again. Our room had black mold in several places and smelled, of course getting sick from it. The beds were horrible. The pool was green the entire time so we did not attempt to get in it. In all honesty it needs a major remodeling or flattened and rebuild. We wanted to get money our money back the first day we walked in but unable to so we had to make it work.

Thank goodness it was just an overnight stay! The motel basically needs many, many renovations. Yes, very economical but it shouldn’t have been in such a rundown state for the price…. Loud, around the doors, ceiling falling in places…..definitely will not being staying there again.

It was okay. Nothing exceptional. I booked a room with a kitchen and when I got to the room I had no kitchen. The balcony door was very visibly broken. Very hard to open and close. I feel as if that’s the kind of thing you take care of immediately. Not a horrible place to stay if you’re on a budget but not going to go out of my way to stay here again.

No shower curtain/door left open.

My boyfriend and I checked into our room on a Friday afternoon. We did some grocery shopping and actually had to leave our room twice that day because we had forgot some things, but before we left the second time I was wanting to take a shower and went to the bathroom and realized there was no shower curtain at all. Before we left again, I stopped at the front office and let them know we were missing the shower curtain. I was told housekeeping would be made aware and they would take care of it. We left for a minute and came back and stayed in our room the rest of the day/night and no one ever brought us a curtain (I would have gladly put it up myself if I was just given one). The next day we wanted to go to the beach, but before we left we told the front office AGAIN what we needed and how we told someone the night before about it and nothing ever came of it. The Second Lady I talked to called over her walkie talkie to housekeeping and let them know so we headed down to the beach. We were gone for multiple hours and when we came back to our room, our door had been left open; propped open with the door stopper. Thankfully all of our belongings were accounted for, but I can’t help but think about the possibility of someone walking by and seeing our door open like that and taking everything. We were both highly upset. By boyfriend had to go inside first just to make sure no one was inside that would want to hurt us. I’m grateful for the outcome, but it all could’ve been avoided.
