It's not much but it was clean and had a really good TV line up. It was quiet and the staff there were super nice and courteous. Price was spot on especially for a Saturday night. Would definitely stay here again.

This is an old motel, with fresh paint. The beds were clean and comfortable. All I need is a bug free cold room and all is well. With that said, the staff was very friendly. The office is open for snacks until midnight. I have a knee injury and a gentleman whom I believe works at the motel, asked to help me out the door and gather my things from the car. He was very sweet and cheerful. I really enjoyed my short stay and would stay again.

Not impressed with the comforter on the bed or the roaches in the bathroom. The ac worked TOO well! They need weatherstripping to keep the Luling “smell” out. The staff was wonderful. Would have liked a coffee maker and soap you dont need scissors to open!

For baseline, this is a motel - drive up, ranch style, just the basics. This one however is well maintained, clean with friendly, responsive staff. I saw no maintenance issues. The sheets, towels, etc. were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only issues I had were 1/ the train - it went by at least twice in 6 hours with the horn blowing; 2/ I was given a smoking room, but to be fair I didn't complain and probably could have gotten a non-smoking room. Smoke doesn't bother me and I was alone, so I didn't make an issue of it. Had my family been with me, I would have chosen differently. But, after a LONG work day and hours of driving, it was an inexpensive room and I got the sleep I needed to get back on the road before sunrise.

Only if you like trains.

We would not arrive till about till midnight so I called the hotel about 9pm to let them know. Good thing I did because she said she closes at 11pm. She told us where the key to our room would be when we arrived, We only needed the room to get a few hours before continuing our trip to Iowa. However sleep was hard to come by because trains blaring there horns come by every 2 hours.

Disgusting

Very basic room with no extras. Shower had no curtain, very small soap bars, no cups, dead bugs on floor, bathtub dirty, no wash cloths to bathe, lighting vey poor and basically, a dump. Pictures on web site do not represent true condtion of the room to stay.

The lady at the front desk was nice but the room not so much. First room had a broken handle on the shower faucet and dirty socks hidden behind the TV. There was a door connecting to the next room that had a big enough gap you could hear the whole conversation from the people next door. We asked for a different room and upon entry the bed was messed up, there were alcohol bottles left behind, dirty towels on the floor and urine in the toilet and on the floor. Checked out immediately. Will not be coming back.

I was trying to not leave a review, giving some grace, but I decided I didn’t want other travelers to be surprised with certain things I experienced. The staff was nice and helpful, but there were issues with the room and environment. It is what you pay for, but at the very least the bathtub should not have hair in it or and almost used piece of old soap in the bathtub. I think this important piece of the stay was totally overlooked because there wasn’t new soap provided as well. I can deal with that but please clean these bathrooms. The room was OK but the fridge barely cooled, but the air conditioner ran fine. I leave this review in hopes that the management can pay attention to these basic amenities. The other the observation I made was a lady out in the courtyard area on a picnic table, pacing back-and-forth and speaking incoherently into a phone for about an hour. She wasn’t affecting me, since I travel around so often staying in budget motels, but it’s not a good look or presence in the environment. I hope this review generates some interest from the management in providing consistency with cleaning and some appeal to the property.
