Needs Updating

The bathrooms need a lot of updating. The room next to us had guests that smoked on the balcony and you could smell it in our room. We also found that none of the lamps or above bed lighting worked and had to put in a maintenance call. Overall it was fine, the rooms are spacious which is a plus but I wouldn’t pay peak season prices to stay here.

The Carousel 🎠

We own a house nearby & booked for use if amenities mostly . The access to beach is great, indoor pool was large & heated . The indoor hot tub , perfect temp . Ice skating in the middle of hotel was really cool .. the barn restaurant has happy hour where you get buy one get one or double appetizers from 3 to 7 and very reasonably priced drinks that were great❤️ The place has everything you need . Spacious room , very clean .

Not again.

Hotel itself, was great. Room, different story. Fleaning staff did well but our room, outdated. Couch was gross, wouldnt even sit on it. Room smelled like old vacuum cleaner. Will not stay here again.

Great view and food

The room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable and the shower was very nice. Room service was ok, they left our trash outside of our room and never came to get it. We had to keep asking for towels and soap. The pool and hot tub was very nice! The food at the reef was excellent!

Good stay

Stayed for an event taking place here. 5th time for the event but decided to stay. Room was clean and had great amenities, and my only complaint was that the bed was as hard as a rock. I use the pillows to make myself a nest and that worked out great for me. I just prefer a softer bed.

Great location for a fun getaway!

The carousel was an amazing location for my husband and I to take a couple days away to rest and relax. We loved the ice rink and overall feel of the hotel. We enjoyed the games and the hot tub! The ice rink was so much fun! My only advice is to ask for a higher level room or corner if you are sensitive to noise. It didn’t bother us but the music was loud. The hotel should also consider updates to the bathrooms. Ours had a good bit of mold on the ceiling and the shower was stained. We would definitely stay again!

We visited the day after Christmas. It was very beautifully decorated for the holidays. I of course brought my service dog; I properly notified and documented everything with staff. On the morning we were leaving, my service dog yelped one time to alert me and my son that my surgar was dropping. Someone I guess from management tryed to confront and argue with me that service dogs don't bark. I tried to explain the type of service dog she was and she got very nasty and said she would go check my documents. I feel that these management and staff need to be more educated on service dogs because there are service dogs that do back when they are working and service dogs do not work 24/7 so therefore they can bark and have fun time when not working! Another thing I found is that the rooms need a little updating/ painting there were areas in the bathroom where things were out of sorts. Also late at nights , you could find a few visitors crawling in the bathroom! Yikes! Other than that, it was very beautiful and we had no other issues with the other staff!

Need to update heating or something 😩

The rooms were freezing cold and the bathroom was even more freezing. The heat was all the way up in the room. Even under the blankets we were freezing. Couldn't get warm enough to get comfortable to go to sleep
