Nice, clean hotel

Very pleasant, friendly staff. The room was clean, updated with a comfortable bed. Coffee, bottled water and a small refrigerator are provided which I very much appreciated. The bathroom was clean but not quite as updated as the room. I took 1 star off because there is nothing to hold onto in the shower and the shelf for placing toiletries was tiny. I had to walk through the entirety of the (wet) shower stall to get to that tiny shelf when it came time to collect my personal shampoo and conditioner. It served the purpose though and the shower had plenty of hot water. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was in very poor condition. Clean but rundown. Mattress was ancient and felt like a rock. Walls are paper thin, as are the ceilings and floors. Could hear every conversation around us and every time someone walked in the hallway above our room. Whole hotel felt and smelled damp.

Fine until we spent the night with no electricity

Stay was fine initially. It’s an older property but it’s a decent stay and close to where I needed to commute to. My issue was on the second night there was no power. No elevator no shower. An entire night without electricity. They slipped a paper under the door which was not immediately seen. They offered to switch to a sister hotel 15-20 minutes away. I was not driving so this would have meant a longer more expensive uber ride to get to my job location. What they offered me was a 25% discount when services were not available for 50% of the nights stay. I understand they had no control over the situation but the burden should not be placed on the customer.

Not great for business travel

Not great for business travel. My king suite did not have a desk and did not have plugs on night stands. Sofa/bed was very uncomfortable for evening relaxation and there were no other seating areas - no arm chair - for TV watching. The shower had no hand rail. Bed was comfortable enough. Advertised a restaurant, but it was closed during the week.

Not a good experience at all..was here for a business trip. We arrived at 7:30 the night of check in our first room had a strong chemical smell (something like a rodent killer smell) and then the second room we received we noticed the next afternoon that it had an extreme amount of mold against the window and the walls when we opened the windows that afternoon. I had a manager come up to see.. she offered 10% off our stay and after speaking to her higher up she offered 20% (at no time was there ever a offer to clean it up or anything) because we used a 3rd party (hotels.com) that's all they could do I was told. Definitely had an excuse about every situation we encountered. Not a happy stay!

This place has gone downhill.

Radisson Freehold We had stayed here a few times about 8 years ago. It feels like the hotel was not updated or cleaned in 8 years. Our first room smelled like vomit. They did move us to another room. It was clean but had issues. The shower leaked and water ran from the shower in to the room. You can see the bottom of the door had been rusted and repainted. The AC didn’t work properly. Either too hot or too cold. You also could not shut it off. This is not the place it once was. I would you stay somewhere else. Not worth the price and I would give it less than one star.

Bring your own things...

All in all it was fine, but a few things were disappointing... I didn't bring a hair dryer with me since most places have one in the room... they didn't. I didn't carry travel shampoo and conditioner since most places have decent ones in the rooms... theirs was terrible. I had to use practically the whole bottle of each in one shower, and my hair still didn't feel clean or conditioned. The beds and pillows were good, and the water pressure/shower was good, so that's what saved the trip.
