Horrible hotel - do not recommend

The elevators were broken, the fire alarm kept going off in the middle of the night for no reason. We had dead bugs in the room and black mold in the bathroom. The water wouldn’t drain in the tub and the water pressure of the shower was abhorrent - the shower head was half disassembled. Overall this was a horrible experience and I would never recommend this hotel to any9’e.

Helpful staff..

The first room we stayed at was facing the main road so it was horribly noisy and the blinds were very thin. Didn’t get any sleep. The staff were very responsive to our request and we moved rooms to an inner facing room which had black out blinds and had a lovely restful second night

Very Average, expensive for what you get.

**Hotel Review: Average Stay with Some Issues** I recently stayed at The Crown and my experience was somewhat average at best. Upon arrival, I was pleased to find that the room was clean, which always sets a good tone for any hotel stay. The housekeeping staff clearly put in the effort to maintain a neat environment. However, my enjoyment was slightly dampened by the poor maintenance of the room. While the cleanliness was commendable, there were several issues that indicated a lack of attention to detail. In summary, while The Crown provided a clean and comfortable place to rest my head, the poor maintenance and average amenities didn't leave a lasting impression. It serves its purpose for a short stay, but I might consider other options for future visit especially at the price they are charging.

Disappointed

As a couple we didn’t need a room with 3 beds in it, there was no kettle which we reported and asked for one to be put in our room in the evening for when we got back from dinner which didn’t happen. My partner went down to reception again and was told someone would bring one up and half an hour later a manager came up to our room and started looking through the cupboards adamant there was a kettle… like we hadn’t checked properly … they didn’t have a spare and all the rooms were full but they did in fairness bring us a brew up in the morning from the coffee machine. I would not stay here again it was tired looking, not enough plug sockets, stains on the curtains and not cosy

Top Hotel

Great hotel. Just off the bottom of the M1. Had work in Westfield Stratford and got there in 45 mins via the mainline station just around the corner. Has secure parking. Clean comfortable air conditioned rooms. Always look forward to the breakfast. Perfectly cooked to order poached eggs, nice bacon and sausage. Good range of continental as well. Even do nice vegetarian sausages if you want. Great breakfast service from Joshua, Monique and Rach. Looking forward to my return.

Flood in the room

Aircon leaked in the room. We were evacuated to another room whereupon the same thing happened again. During the process of complaining No manager has made any attempt to reach out and address these issues
