A Beautiful and Well-Located Gem in Brugge

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel right in the heart of Brugge. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the clean, modern design and the warm welcome from the staff. The location is absolutely ideal—situated in the city centre, it’s perfect for exploring the sights, yet the rooms remain peaceful and quiet despite the bustle outside. One of the standout features was the secure on-site parking, which made arriving by car stress-free. The room itself was large and spacious, with thoughtful amenities including a flat-screen TV, coffee maker, and hair dryer. The en suite bathroom was equally impressive—well-equipped and spotless, making for a very comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the fantastic breakfast. There was an excellent range of choices available, catering to all tastes, and everything was fresh and well-presented. The downstairs bar was also a great touch, offering a wide selection of drinks at very reasonable prices—especially considering the hotel’s central location. There were just a couple of minor drawbacks during our stay. While the hotel advertises a gym, it’s not available for use until 8:30am, which might be inconvenient for early risers looking to work out before starting their day. Additionally, the mattress in our room felt a little saggy and could probably do with being replaced soon for improved comfort. Overall, though, this hotel offers excellent value, combining style, cleanliness, and convenience with great

Location, Location!

Fabulous location, a short walk to train through quiet streets. Extremely close to a few great restaurants and a few blocks to a laundromat. Best breakfast bar of 30 day trip around Europe. Wonderfully large bathrooms, but with a whiff of sewage most days if door not left shut. Apparently the shower drain may not be placed well after cleaning??? that was explanation. Room overlooking the small street was quiet at night.

Great Hotel

Rooms are large but unusual layout. Distinct lack of storage space in bathroom. Hotel location towards the outskirts of old town but well within walking distance of all attractions. Breakfast very good with wide selection on offer. The property appears popular with visitors from USA.

Wonderful stay in Bruges

Our stay at the Acadamie was great. Its position was extremely convenient, not only for walking to the Train and Bus stations, when visiting other nearby Belgian cities, but also very close to the centre of Bruges itself, to enjoy all its sights and amenities. We had a very modern, well fitted room, which overlooked the central courtyard.Bed was extremely comfortable, and very large! Bathroom had both bath and shower options. Breakfast was taken in the cellar Breakfast Room. Large range of hot and cold food available, making choice difficult! Staff, both on Reception and in the Breakfast Room were very friendly and helpful. The Acadamie Hotel was for us an excellent choice in Bruges.
