Miserable

This is a fair and honest review. The property itself is nice if you can get past staff that run it. First one I showed up at the property with the only $40 in cash which is a deposit has to be $50 in cash. I was basically told to walk up to the gas station and pull out the extra $10. Understandable. I did and came back and invited a friend over. We ordered doorDash once and at one point a strange man with what appears to be film equipment in the smoking gazebo around 2 AM when I got up the next day to extend the room because it was quite nice room. I was basically told by the woman that I had too many people over. Go get my stuff. I didn’t have an extension where was my receipt. Just an awful way to treat another human being for no reason. For that reason I wouldn’t give them any of your business. If you plan on having company, which most people in hotels do I would not recommend staying here. The staff are absolutely miserable.

Very peaceful atmosphere, impeccable cleanliness and not one insect in my room. Friendly staff. Very unique and artistic set up. I’ll be back! I felt at home hearing French, my first language, as well as Creole, my second language. English and Spanish were spoken too. I felt at home.

Reserved with Expedia and the room we got was nowhere close to what we saw on the pictures in fact it was almost like a prison cell with a private bathroom and when we asked to upgrade they did not seem impressed with the fact that we booked with Expedia. Not a nice experience.

When we arrived, we were told our room have been upgraded to a room with a brand new bathroom that has never been used. The room was beautiful very nicely laid out and we definitely enjoyed the brand new bathroom. It was gorgeous the person who checked us in and Ana who checked us out in the morning both did a great job.
