Was decent resort for our purpose. Possibly could stay again. Hated the air conditioning blowing directly on the beds, and hated not having hot water in the shower. it wasnt even lukewarm. Complained a couple times at front desk, nothing ever done.

Long Weekend

Went to the area for a wedding had never stayed here before. Room was great, staff was super friendly. Pools were clean and warm, access to the beach was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice resort.

While the building itself is older, they have made many improvement updates. Rooms are nice. Location is great. Nice sized pool, ocean front restaurant, and coffee shop. Complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas at oceanfront.

Great location and outside pool dining bar and beach access and staff was fantastic. Disappointing w the room condition and extra cost of upgrade Housekeeping apparently indicated to front desk that our do not disturb sign was on the door after 11 am because we went swimming and assumed they would be able to service the room mid day and when we inquired they told us housekeeping was gone for the day. So much for $350 per night w $40 resort and $17 per night for parking you would think they could have serviced our room and or at least offered us some kind of credit or voucher Mgr said they could not do anything. The room had a musty stench in the bathroom which was dated and deteriorated shower walls and cabinetry Pool beach and restaurant staff was super friendly and food was very good. We requested our server Janet for our 2nd night and she was awesome. Pool beach staff was also awesome. We will Likely go back just was hoping for some type of voucher or credit given the room rate and fees

Balcony Bliss

The partial ocean view room was totally worth it. Big private balcony and plenty of ocean to see and hear. The restaurant onsite was great and room service was a nice bonus after a long day. Bed was super comfortable and towels were fluffy. Self-parking was across the street from hotel, but loved everything else!

Unfriendly and unhelpful front desk and dingy

The front desk was completely unhelpful about everything, starting with check in. This was our second year staying here, and this year was a complete departure from year one. As I said the front desk made us wait until 4.00 to check in even though I called the night before and requested then and throughout the day of. Even if they couldn’t have the room made up for an early check in they were hostile about our wanting that —saying we’d be getting a free room. We offered to pay and still nothing. Every time we approached the front desk dori g our four night stay we were met with frowning “help”. Isn’t hospitality 101 to at the very least offer a smile to the paying guests? It was so so unwelcoming. The room was clean but needed new paint and the bathroom was tiny. It was done tbh out of a tenement house. The towels—tiny, old, and far too few. We paid almost $500 a night. For Pompano that’s high, and yet it felt in some ways like a dingy motel (which are plentiful in Pompano). The beach help—friendly and so nice. They made the stay. Still, the dinginess of the old paint, the weird moldy smell throughout the hotel, ridiculously small bathroom and 75$ motel towels on top of the u friendly and unhelpful front desk make this place one we will never return to. It could be so much better!!!

You are definitely paying for location!!!

My daughter and I went for Easter weekend. We have a room with two double beds, balcony and partial ocean views. I feel that we should not have to pay to park my car across the street from the hotel. I feel that was excessive. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. The location cannot be beat! Right on the beach! The beach is beautiful. The room was set up very strange. You walk in and there is a room with one piece of furniture that had the mini fridge in it. On the left side there was a long hallway (closet) that lead to the bathroom. The bathroom was very small and needs an update! If you go straight when coming in the room, there is a desk with the TV on it. The other side of the room were the two beds. The TV was very small and far away from the beds The balcony was the best part! Beautiful views! We had drinks at the bar which was very beautiful, and they had live music. It is an older hotel the noise at night was very loud, banging doors etc.It was a nice time, but I think I will try somewhere else next time.

Not again here

Dated hotel. Very far from any restaurants and bars. Old school bathroom has no vanity outside the shower. With 4 of us we each have to wait to even do basic teeth cleaning. Paid a lot of $$ for a week in April. Not A+ service. They put away the fresh water dispenser at 5:30 so I guess I need to buy their drinks? All offered beach chairs are locked up at 5:30 pm, really? can’t use them at sunset. Even asked no dice. Pools closed 5:30 too. They turn on the beautiful pool lights but can’t swim, really? What kind of resort is this? Not even a couch to sit down on in the room. Over heard another tenant tell the front desk his kids iPad and switch disappeared out of his room. Key cards fail throughout the day having to make another visit to the front desk. Definitely a one shot hotel.
