The hotel is very central close to everything. I was apprehensive about no window to outside but the frosted glass window to the hallway of the room let in light with full privacy so did not bother us at all!

No idea if there is new owners or what. This was my 5th time staying here and I’m so sorry but this time was very disappointed. Front desk look like they don’t want to be there. They gave us a room in a corner of the 4th floor, room # 405, next to the washer and driers used by housekeeping. The room was dusty, the night tables need to be replace asap, the bathroom fan was very nasty, the shower not clean, even with something looking like hair, no idea. No iron board, no iron, no hair drier, the towels were old and smelly. The pillows need to be replace for better quality. The restaurant, 3/4 people working but not as a team, 2 days we waited for more than 15 minutes after receiving the little menu, we left. I really hope they do better and fix all this.

Staff are welcoming. The room is clean but there are some maintenance issues, e.g. TV, the shower takes a long time to get the hot water. Room is super big and the mattress is comfy. Breakfast is amazing.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The interior of the hotel was more run down than expected and cleanliness was just ok. For us, it was a last minute need for a hotel late at night, and as mentioned, the staff were gracious hosts.

Perfect location if you want to see actual wildlife with out having to search for it extensively. Location provides a peaceful spot as it’s not on the main road. Many other tourists we met said they could sleep well because traffic a people were so loud along the strip/main road. We saw monkeys on a mango tree right outside our room and many exotic birds too. There’s also a beautiful peacock that greets you every time you come back to the property. Very safe spot too. This is the place to stay in cahuita/pueto vargas for sure. The owner is also very educated with the area and gave us many suggestions for adventures and sight seeing that never disappointed.

El elevador tiene un fuerte olor a gasolina, nos dejaron sin agua una hora antes del check out, el teléfono no funciona correctamente y cuando volvió el agua salía de color chocolate. Regresamos del evento a las 12:30mn y no había nadie en recepción, la puerta estaba cerrada y el joven apareció después que llamé por WhatsApp. Pocas opciones de desayuno y si quieren proteína deben pagar extra, no hay siquiera una botella de agua de cortesía en la habitación.

A destacar, la atención excelente e increíble del personal. Muy atentos y dispuestos a ayudar en lo que se necesite. De verdad lo mejor del hotel son ellos. Kendall, Alejandro, Heiner, Travis, y el resto del equipo. Son A1. La ubicación es excelente. Esta muy cerca de todo (museos, barrio chino, restaurantes, panaderias, tiendas). Lo malo, las condiciones un poco descuidada de las instalaciones. Los dueños del hotel debería reinvertir en ello. Si lo hicieran, sería excepcional el hotel. Falta mas mantenimiento y mejorar la decoración.

Amazing front desk and breakfast Staff. So professional and welcoming. Everything was spotless! The entire Hotel was extremely clean - Spotless!! Breakfast was fabulous and cooked to order. Would absolutely recommend this hotel. Loved the simple tranquility. It is truly the calm oasis in the heart of the city they promise. Close to market, bus station, and restaurants.
