It was so pleasurable to start the day with the onsen ritual. Automation at the hotel is excellent from check in to check out including updates on the room TV about crowded times to use the onsen or elevators. Staff is incredibly patient and helpful with the best attitudes. This my second stay at an APA Hotel in Tokyo and I will continue to stay at this welcoming hotel chain.

I did not eat here, but the onsen bath area and terrace view overlooking Tokyo Tower on the top floor were gorgeous! Rooms are smaller, so try to keep the amount of luggage minimal- maybe only one bag or 2 small bags so you can move more freely. Great for minimalists. Duvet was nice and fluffy and clean too.

Great value for money. The ofuro (big bath) was really nice. Good and central location - close to Takanawa Gateway (new stop on Yamanote line) and right on top of the Sengakuji stop (great if you are coming or going from/to Haneda). Sengakuji, the temple, is the burial ground of the «47 ronin» - look it up. Didn’t try the breakfast buffet, but loads of easy options close by including «kombinis» and up-market places in Takanawa Gateway City.
