Nice Hotel- couple hiccups

Nice hotel and restaurant. Only complaint was that they shut everything down when there was storms in the area. So the pool and slides were closed for an hour and it never rained. Also, our units AC was broken- had to make 2 services calls and ultimately got moved to a new unit. Staff was friendly and attentive but there were a couple hiccups.

Mid at best. Not worth it for one night.

We only stayed here one night. Because of the weather though we didn’t end up using any of the amenities that we thought we might- the pool, lazy river, beach. It was cold and windy and pools were all closed. So since we didn’t use any amenities the price ended up not being worth what we paid for a basic studio room. We had one window that looked out to the open corridor, so we never opened up the blinds since people walking past could see in to our room. So it left the room feeling dank and dark. The room also smelt damp. The wind blew through the coridor and under the door and whistled all day and night. Thankfully we brought a noise machine to cover this and the dripping AC from the unit above us. We had a studio with a pull out couch and there were no linens for the pull out. When I called to ask for some it seemed as if they had not delivered. About an hour later they texted to ask if everything was good and I mentioned we hadn’t gotten linens still. They had put them outside our door in a garbage bag and didn’t even knock. The lobby also has some sort of scent pumped into it that was nauseating to say the least. This could have been an OK stay but wasn’t worth it in the end. plan on coming longer than overnight if you want your moneys worth.

Excellent customer service, great pool

We booked a room for three, expecting two double beds. Was given room with a king bed and a couch. Couch was massively uncomfortable, so we requested a change. Resort upgraded us to a suite with two beds at no extra charge. We were very grateful! The pool area is wonderful and the beach is an easy walk. Perfect for families cruising out of the port.

OK place missing a heart

The staff is slow and not very knowledgeable. Try to ask about the Kennedy space port next door - for a blank stare. They try to get you into a time share lecture though. Otherwise, nice apartments in ghost town.

Fun amenities for kids

Super fun amenities for the kids. However, be aware that any other day activities are extra but the prices are not listed until you go to do them (not so great when a child is present). Room had a slight damp odor to it, bed was extremely uncomfortable and the a/c unit was very loud it kept waking me up every time it kicked on. Thankfully, we were only spending one night here. The restaurant was good, arcade was fun and unfortunately, the hot tubs were under construction, so that was a bummer.

This was a pre-cruise stay so it was super convinient as the resort is right across the street from Terminal 1. We had a beach facing unit and were lucky enough to not only see the beach, with a 2 minute walh to the beach and as a bonus was even able to see the Space X launch ftom our balcony. The 2 bedroom suite easily accomodated 6 adults and it was modern and clean. We only stayed for 2 nights, wished we could have stayed a couple more nights. The staff were very helpful and the grounds and pool areas were great. Great onsite restaurant and walking distance to many more restaurant options at the cruise terminals. Will definitely book again on my next cruise out of Port Canaveral.

Rocket Launch Stay

This hotel resort was a mixed experience. Pros: Location right next to Jetty Park for launch viewing. Beds and bedding was comfortable, room was clean and temperature control was great. Sitting area with sofabed. Partial kitchen was something that came in handy. Heart shaped tub was clean and well designed. I used it as we were freezing after coming in from a 1 am launch out on the pier. Restaurant and menu had good choices. Cons: No maid service was a huge surprise for a hotel resort of this caliber and price point. No bathmats in the bathroom. Floor after bathing or showering was slippery.The bed was not made up and the towels and toiletries and trash were not refreshed or changed during our 4 day stay. No choice of in room movies for a rainy day. The weather was chilly and we were not able to take advantage of the pool, lazy river or adjacent beach while still paying a resort fee. Overall impression: Mixed bag. For the price we will not stay again.
