NOT 5 STAR!!!
I recently stayed two nights at this hotel, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a so-called five-star property. On the first night, we were placed on the first floor, and the noise was unbearable we could hear every guest coming and going, and the room literally shook from hallway and street noise. Sleeping was impossible. The next day, we were moved to a smaller room, but despite having paid for a larger one, we received no compensation for the downgrade.
The pool was equally unacceptable it was unusable due to pigeons constantly bathing and drinking from it. This is not only disgusting but also a serious health hazard. Definitely not five-star standards.
The worst part, however, was at checkout: we were presented with charges for a dinner and coffee we never had. Someone else had signed receipts in my name (with my room number clearly listed), and the hotel’s system allowed it. This is a blatant failure in security and privacy, potentially even a GDPR violation. When we questioned it, the receptionist suggested we might actually have consumed the items, which was insulting and highly unprofessional.
Between the noise, the downgrade, the unhygienic pool, and fraudulent billing, this hotel is nowhere near five-star quality.
