The Woodlands is a solid brick hotel, the only one in Fort Nelson. Well maintained by friendly staff who are very knowledgeable about the area. Parking is easy, gym in basement is good. Breakfast offered is good too. Always a good choice when staying in the area.

Everything here is wonderful. The staff went above and beyond for me several times which is a huge step above the other hotels I’ve been at on this trip. Great location in Fort Nelson. The on-site restaurant is a big plus. You are close to the center of town so there are other options nearby. The parking lot was full so I was forced to park further out. Room was clean, comfortable bed, many in-room amenities. The hotel is well built with solid brick even in the halls - definitely a quiet room and I couldn't hear anyone else. A good continental breakfast in the same aforementioned restaurant (for guests only). There was a lobby store for snacks and sundries (I didn't need anything) but noticed it. 5 star stay for sure.
