I recently stayed at Bantr and overall had a decent experience, though there were a few areas that could use improvement. The bed in the main room was very comfortable and made for a good night’s sleep, but unfortunately the pull-out sofa was the opposite—it was hard and uncomfortable, making it a poor option for additional guests.
The room itself was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. However, the hallway carpets were noticeably worn and could definitely use some updating to match the rest of the space.
One small but important issue was the lack of hand soap by the bathroom sink. When I asked the front desk for some, I was told the hotel had run out. It’s a basic amenity that should always be available, so that was a bit disappointing. I was brought liquid body wash as a replacement, but chose instead to purchase handsoap from a local store.
Bantr has a lot of potential with its cozy atmosphere and friendly vibe, but a few details—like more comfortable extra bedding, and better attention to stocking essentials—would really make a big difference. I’d consider staying again, but I hope they address these minor but noticeable issues.
