I found the hotel clean and loved the location. I could walk to Central Park in one direction and Greenwich Village in the other. What I was most impressed with however was the great front desk staff. They were always friendly and helpful. Great stay.

The hotel is very basic. Retuned to the room at 4.30pm on the first day and despite leaving the "please clean our room" sign on the door the room had not been cleaned. When we raised this with reception I was surprised to be told we had to ask each day for it to be cleaned! They didn't actually clean the rooms, just changed the towels and made the beds. Very noisy on the street side and no sound proofing. Very limited storage space to unpack. clean

Nice hotel with nice staff.

Very clean hotel. Everything looks new. Very friendly staff. The only reason I I didn't give it 5 stars because housekeeping kept knocking on my door even though I had my Do Not Disturb sign up. This happened several times. Also, I arrived early so I had them hold my bags until my room was ready. They charged me $1 per bag. I had $3,000 for my stay. Charging me $1 seems trivial and was a bad customer experience.
