Although they were a little shorthanded when we were there, the staff went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly for us. The gentleman who made us breakfast was not only a great cook, but was super friendly. This is a great spot to stay, and in this small town is worth supporting

This was a cute and quaint place to stay. The property offers rooms, suites, and yurts with a bar open on Fridays and Saturdays. You can also walk about a half mile to see the river’s dam and fish if you like. We enjoyed the stay!

It was terribly dated inside the buildings and the grounds look worn and unkempt. My towels were wet as their dryer didn’t work so I was thankful I had my own towels in my car. The tub was disgusting and had a permanent brown ring around the tub. It had potential to be a cool place as it is right on the river and the grounds could be beautiful but would take lots of work One lady checked me in and was nice

We stayed in the lake room. We didn't get to enjoy the outside balcony because it rained most of the time. But the room was clean. Just a little musty. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was very good. They are very pet friendly

Everyone there was so amazing. The Hostess was so friendly and inviting. And the owners were also super great. They fixed you a homemade breakfast and it was sooo delicious. And the domed rooms were fantastic with a river view. Would recommend to anyone staying in the Sutton area. All the people there were so friendly and welcoming.

First time glamping and we absolutely loved it! Very clean and comfortable accommodations in a peaceful area with a beautiful view of the river. Waking up in the morning to see a slice of the sky from bed was an unexpected perk of our geodesic dome tent. Although a typical continental breakfast was offered, having a delicious plated breakfast served on white linen tablecloths with a smile and friendly conversation in the main house was another unexpected treat. Francisco was very courteous and helpful!

Very happy with my choice to stay here. Staff was very nice, Francisco cleaned the snow off my car my first morning there. Duke was an excellent breakfast companion. Hotel is a great central location on WV for my week long vacation to explore the state. The town is close to major highways, but small enough I enjoyed the quiet after coming home from a day of driving/exploring. I will be back here next time I take a visit to WV!

We had a wonderful time. The views were amazing. The rooms were clean and exactly as described. Fransico was very helpful. My only suggestion would be a tv in the bedroom also so if your child goes to sleep first the adults can continue watching tv.

The grounds were very nice with yard games and fire pits. Nice area right on the Elk River. Cute little bar to relax and get a drink. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good. The "dome"we stayed in appeared very clean, however, my only complaint was the "musty" smell. I should have asked for different accommodations (which would have given owners opportunity to fix the situation) but was very tired from driving all day so decided to put up with it for the night.

We stayed in one of the riverfront domes, it was an excellent setting. Domes are nicely setup, have everything you need and the heating/AC work great. Bar had a decent selection of drinks including wines, beer and mixed cocktails. Host was great and adjacent to the property there is EV charger. We live 9 hours away and would consider going back for a few days.
