If you ever find yourself needing a nice but budget friendly place to stay in San Simeon (or near Cambria) stay at the Comfort Inn in San Simeon. The front desk person was so nice. The view and room was perfect. The bed was so comfy. Continental breakfast was great. And the gym was 5 stars. Wish I brought my tennis shoes so we could have worked out. Next time.

8/10 Very good

A little run down but rooms were clean and comfortable. I wish the first floor had a screen door because the weather allows for fresh air rather than using the a/c. Breakfast area very small and gets very crowded. Simple offerings only of waffles or toast

Good value for the price. The place was quiet and tidy and the breakfast wasn't fancy but at least offered some cooked options (egg, sausage and waffles).

All went well, initially the front desk person gave a wrong room it was not cleaned. We went back and he adjusted and gave second floor key. We said got elder people and can’t climb stairs so he adjusted and found a first floor room. They have a patio too but the graveling there seems to make it not much of interesting but overall it was clean and nicer and we stayed one night.

We had a nice stay and highly recommend this hotel. It hits the sweet spot for comfort, convenience, and value. The complimentary breakfast is a definite plus—there was a great variety of hot and cold options, and the coffee was always fresh. The location is ideal, situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood within walking distance to beach and fine dining. Best of all, the rates are incredibly affordable for the quality you get. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. A very good find!

The staff is really friendly. Breakfast is okay. Property is a little out dated and the airconditioning in our room is noisy.
