Fint hotell - men hade förväntat mig mer!

Jättefint hotell. Vi var där i slutet av april och det märktes tyvärr att hotellet hade eller haft lågsäsong. Vi fick en terass ut mot havet som inte var perfekt lämpad för vår två-åring. Mycket trappor, vilket var knepigt med vagn. Hade hellre haft en balkong så att det inte fanns risk att hon skulle ramla i havet. Balkongdörrarna från sovrummen var låsta så vi kunde inte nyttja dem. Terassen delvis väldigt smutsig och full av myror som även fanns inomhus. Saknade vinglas på rummet och enklare saker som kniv, gaffel etc (hade ett litet kök). Personalen var mestadels väldigt trevlig. Frukosten och frukost-terassen får stort plus. Vi kommer att komma tillbaka men då be om ett annat rum! :)

Das Hotel liegt schön am Hang. Wir hatten eine Suite, sie war zweckmäßig, jedoch wurde sie nicht ordentlich geputzt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, das Personal sehr freundlich. Der check in verlief suboptimal. Kamen spätabends an, weder wurde uns bei den Koffern geholfen, noch das Zimmer gezeigt, wo es liegt. Alle anderen, außer der Nachtportier von der Rezeption, waren jedoch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage mit dem Meerblick ist toll.

Wonderful Easter holiday

We are just home from a wonderful week in Mallorca. We have three daughters aged 10,10 and 12 this hotel was just perfect for them. Small enough to allow them some independence but large enough to have everything we needed. The outdoor pool isn’t heated so it was fresh in April- but so much fun to jump in. The indoor pool is heated well and was popular with my kids jumping from one to the next. We had a sea view suite and it was just incredible to wake up and have a coffee on the balcony every morning. The cleaners were impeccable. Our room was spotless and we received new towels, coffee pods and milk daily. We had a few day trips and the hotel staff were always so helpful and friendly. Very organised always knowing our names. We got the bus into Palma for just €2 each and were able to use Ubers to get around too. The hotel breakfast buffet was a good standard and when we ate in the restaurants we were also happy with everything. The beach at Illetas was one of the most beautiful with the bright turquoise water. Climbing down the steps for a sea swim from the hotel we saw tropical fish and it is really a very beautiful spot.

Disappointing Stay at Hotel ROC Illetas & SPA

My recent stay at Hotel ROC Illetas & SPA was highly disappointing. The rooms were poorly maintained, with a broken closet door and noticeable uncleanliness, including snot on the wall that remained after four days despite complaints. The lack of air conditioning made the room unbearably hot, and the staff dismissed my concerns, stating it was "out of season" on April 19th and suggesting I open the sliding door, which let in street noise and didn’t help, it was still too hot to sleep. The indoor pool closed early at 8:30 PM, limiting activities for kids. The internet was down for an entire day, and the front desk staff were rude, unhelpful, and indifferent to my issues. Overall, I expected much better from this hotel and would not recommend it.

5 nights at the Roc

The hotel gets a 2* overall. I will mention the good and bad. Good: There is lots of variety for breakfast and dinner. There is a number 4 bus stop outside the hotel. There is a few stops within walking distance. The sea view is nice. Bad: The building is old and needs upgrading, the shop near by is far from main centre so charge double or more for most products, this hotel is a good 5-7 miles away from the Palma centre so youll have to travel in daily. The big taxi dont come to this hotel due to being too far, you may need to hire two smaller taxi for a family of 5 or take the bus. The steam room or Sauna is often randomly switched off to save electricity making you to wait for it to be warmed up again. The outdoor pool isnt heated so the water is too cold for temperature under 25°c. The indoor pool is too small and maximum you can have is around 7 people swimming. The spa prices are too expensive you can find cheaper in Palma town. The whole apartment needs a deep mop as it seems it hasnt been moped for years. You are not allowed to bring your own water for dinner, your pressurised to buy their drinks and water at high prices. If you dont buy the drinks they take the empty glass away from your table and dont give you good customer service. They treat you like a second class customer even though we paid £1200 for 5 nights. The pillow is a cylinder shaped pillow. Its very uncomfortable and gives you neck pain. We slept without the pillow.

Food : breakfast was the same everyday which is not exciting for kids. Pancake was nit nice, its nit english pancake. Butter was horrible. Dessert was ok. Dinner ok some day not ok other. Chef was really nice to provide pizza for my children as they didbt have kids menu on the buffet. Staff : female manager was extremely rude. Other staff were nice. Hotel in general : amazing view if you buy the oceanfront view. Hotel has not made up it mind yet if they want to modern or old . Surrounding: lovely small beach nearby. Shops near by however city is far out Rooms: Tv is all in Spanish, betflix nit working , youtube nit working . You cannot connect tv to their Internet wifi .i asked but all i get us excuse. At night there was lits of banging noise reall loud. They couldn't fix it or know the source . It kept us up all night. Not far to katmandu resorts and park. 20min drive. Not booking again. Kids didnt enjoy environment.

Great for a family reunion

We were stying at the ROC off season and some of the services were not available. But, overall, the stay was good. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms accommodation was great for a small family reunion. Spa services were enjoyable. Palma attractions could be reached by bus #4 that stopped in front of hotel.

I was really looking forward to staying at Hotel ROC Illetas & SPA, but my experience was beyond disappointing. From the start, there were major issues. Upon arrival, we were told there was nowhere to park, forcing us to park far down the street with no assistance for our luggage. Check-in was awkward and unwelcoming, setting the tone for what was to come. When we entered our room, it was extremely hot—the air conditioning wasn’t working. Worse, there was mold growing in the bathroom, stained furniture, and an overall strong musty odor that made the room feel completely unclean and unlivable. The furniture was so dirty and stained that I didn’t even want to sit on it. At that moment, we knew there was no way we could stay in this hotel. Feeling completely misled by both the hotel and Expedia/Hotels.com, we immediately left and had to book another hotel last-minute—costing us an additional $3,000. When we requested a refund for our five-night stay ($2,784.10), the hotel flat-out refused, despite the fact that we spent less than 10 minutes in the room. I even submitted photo evidence showing that the room was completely uninhabitable, yet they are still refusing to make this right. I rarely write negative reviews, but the way this hotel gaslit us and refused to take accountability is beyond frustrating. Avoid this hotel at all costs!

Slidt hotel ved vandet

Meget slidt hotel med tydeligt fugt/mug problemer som de prøvede at skjule. Først i 3. forsøg fik vi et værelse svarende til det vi havde købt og uden mug. Meget larm. Maden uinteressant. Dejligt at kunne komme direkte i havet.

Hôtel très agréable, vue parfaite!

Séjour très agréable avec une très belle vue depuis notre chambre pr 4, même la vue parfaite sur l’océan depuis le lit dans la chambre à côté du séjour qui a le balcon! Lieu pr petit déjeuner avec une terrasse qui a aussi une belle vue entre pin et mer, et nourriture de bonne qualité. Hôtel à taille humaine mais avec tous les services d’intérêt pour une famille et ses parents, etc. Installations aussi prévues pour personnes handicapées malgré l’architecture avec pas mal d’escaliers et étages.

Ein schönes familiär wirkendes Hotel. Verpflegung mit toller Auswahl, Frühstück auf wunderschöner Terasse. Personal super freundlich. Zimmer mit Meerblick in neuem zustand und guter Ausstattung. Schöne Sauna, Schwimmbad sieht nett aus, aber nicht besucht. Schöne Lage, Gegend östlich von Palma aber ohne Ursprünglichkeit, alles eher moderne Touristikorte ohne historischen Kern, man ist aber schnell im historischen Palma. Aus meider Sicht eine klare Hotel-Empfehlung *****

The room was lovely and bright with a great view. I didn’t find much to do around the hotel besides the beach, but it was pretty convenient to the highway so I could go and explore.

Good location outside Palma

Great seaview and service. Walking distance to beach and nr4 busstation right outside the hotel. We had to be at the airport at 4 and the hotel helped us with a cab and breakfast at 3 in the morning! The gym is small.
