Never again

First, if you get there anytime before or around 4 for check in there will be a long wait. There was only 1 person at the desk checking people in until others finally helped. The 3rd building is outdated. The bathroom needed a deep cleaning. There was footprints still in the tub. There was possible mold? around the floorboards under the sink. Bathroom looked like it had not been swept because of hairs along the edge of the floor. The doors were dirty. I bought lysol and clorox wipes. Will not stay here again.

Loved the proximity to the beach, the food court, and Anchor Bar at the hotel. Close to everything. However, the hotel could use a deep clean, as well as touching up paint, and room furniture.

Very nice location

Overall, I did enjoy my stay the property is very beautiful with phenomenal views of the beach with direct access as well. I didn’t like the breakfast because there were no prices on anything and you couldn’t get refills from the juice or coffee dispensers. Parking was another problem there are no designated parking spaces for ground floor rooms so we had to park too far away from our room every day of our stay. I would definitely start again & recommend this resort to others.

The room was ok for a hotel stay for two nights and the price. I would suggest that doors need to have new weather stripping or leveled where you dont see daylight ciming from the bottom of the door and bugs coming in. The door to the balcony would stick when trying to open and close it as well. We didnt stay in the room except to sleep and the beds where clean but squeaky. Nightly checkin staff need to speak a little louder when talking instead of mumbling.

We kept getting locked out of our room. Our keys would not work half the time they kept wanting to charge me for my service dog even so I had a charge on my credit card. Lots of bugs had to go to the store and get our own spray had no trashcan in the room had to request one three times

Never come here

I wouldn’t stay here. My friends and I have stayed at many cheaper hotels on the beach before so it’s not like we’re used to 5 star luxury hotels, but this was by far the worst. The staff checking us in was EXTREMELY rude. They ignored us for a large part of checking us in to talk to one another, resulting in our check in process taking 40 minutes. Then because they were talking to each other, they messed up our dates for the key cards and car permit resulting in us getting locked out of our room two days into our stay. They gave us full sized beds when I paid for queens, the shower drained so incredibly slow, and the toilet nearly overflowed every time you flushed it. There was also two roaches in our bathroom. Along with all this, it’s not listed that any one under 25 has to pay an extra 55 dollars so that was added onto the cost. I 100% understand some hotels have a policy for individuals under 25, but it was upsetting that that policy is listed no where so we were unaware of it until we arrived. The only pro about this place would be the location since it was very close to town, but you could stay at another hotel down the road.

It was by the water thats the only reson i picked this hotel the rooms where old and outdated with some damadge to the paint and walls while the outside of the hotel had roaches but i didnt find any in the room but the veiw of the beach and the nice bars they offer is worth it to me

Attack of the biting flies

Every time we stepped outside we were attacked by flies. Other guests were complaining as well. The room next to us had a barking dog. We mentioned it to housekeeping when they came by and they could hear it as well and said they were told not to go in any room if they hear a dog.

Pictures are greatly misleading!

While we were not expecting a 5star hotel we were expecting a little more. Guess you get what you pay for. The hotel itself was decently clean except for the mini fridge while it looked clean the smell that came out of it when we opened the door was horrendous (it smelled like someone had left rotten shrimp in there for weeks). The front door did not want to latch and we had to work with it every time we came and went. There was a huge gap in the door that you could see light coming through. The bathroom tiles in the ceiling were missing gaps which made me extremely uncomfortable. There is no ice machines on the premises. You can go to the cafe behind the main building and get a scoop of ice from the cafe if they are open. The water faucets coming from the beach area to wash off your feet do not work. But the beds slept great and there is wonderful water pressure in the room!

Nasty

The hotel and rooms are in desperate need of repairs. Room was filthy with hair all over floor and stained bedding and towels. We moved rooms but it was still horrible. Check in service was terrible as well. The ladies at the front couldn't have cared less about our complaints or us cancelling our reservation. Moved to another hotel at a similar price point and it was wonderful.

Not so good

This room was not to good. I will give the pros and cons. Cons- Bathroom was the worst. Has NO where to put anything. Nothing on wall. Had to put clothes on toilet. Also bathroom has no fan or window or air conditioning vent. It also had small roaches in bathroom. The other con was. This room had no balcony or patio on back. Just had a little step. I was so disappointed. There was not even any chairs at ours. Other thing is someone stole out beach canopy we left in back next to our door. Security told me that lot of stuff was stole around that area. I asked if they had security cameras. He said they didn't have any. It's ashame they don't have any for our safety. Only had 1 pool open our entire stay, so had to walk to other end to use pool. Pros AC worked great. Beds were very comfortable and clean. House keepers left plenty of towels and stuff. The two women that checked me in were very nice. The one pool that was open was very clean.
