The staff was helpful and patient. The air conditioning worked. The Motel 6 was shabby, but clean. My friend was most disturbed by the numbers of people (with their cats and dogs) who seemed to be loitering outside our room and who didn’t appear to have any consideration for the other guests.

Check-in was quick. Clerk was polite and helpful. I was near the laundry machines, which operated until 5 pm . I was on the opposite side of the building, to the light rail line. There were many cats around. It sounded like one was in heat.

Nonetheless make sure to confirm what is or is not in the room before booking. The front desk person was kind, I'm sure she would've been of assistance.
