Clinging to the rim of an ancient volcano, whitewashed villages cascade down dramatic cliffs toward the impossibly blue Aegean. Wander the narrow cobblestone lanes of Oia, where every turn reveals another perfect view framed by blue-domed churches. The black sand beaches of Kamari and Perissa offer swimming spots unlike any other, with volcanic mountains rising behind sunbathers. Take a boat tour across the caldera to the smoldering islet where the volcano still steams and bubbles. Wine lovers shouldn't miss Santo Wines, where tastings come with sunset views that explain why artists have been drawn here for centuries. For history buffs, the remarkably preserved Bronze Age settlement at Akrotiri reveals a sophisticated civilization frozen in time by the ancient eruption.
We spent 10 days in Santorini, all at the Santorini Princess Luxury Spa hotel. From the complimentary "welcome" cocktails and dessert, to the amazing food, the incredibly atentive and accomodating staff, and the beautiful grounds, I can't say enough about this place.
The highest of hospitality you can ever imagine. The staff will take your bags to your room and also when you leave. They will make all your reservations for your restaurants, tours, cabs, car rentals, ect. Will give all the recommendations you need. This spot is a great location in the middle of the island, can walk the trail to Oia on the path that’s along the hotel, walking to Fira the other way. Easy to walk to the bus stations. Also being on the cliff, you have the amazing view right...
Where to start,Santorini sky is a diamond of a hotel. The property is especially serene and the views breathtaking. The staff exceeds expectations in every way imaginable! My only regret is not staying enough days at the property.
The hotel itself is more boutiquey and unique in a good way. We loved our Superior Suite which was spacious and comfortable and always clean. When we got there Melanie greeted us and helped wheel in some of our luggage.
The services that I really appreciated:
- unlimited free bottled water (although you're really paying for it in your hotel fee)
- generous breakfast included - you order from a menu (see photo)
- offer to pre-arrange shuttle or private car to/from airport and you pay the hotel...
The room was absolutely gorgeous, and as advertised. Be ready to climb a 100 stairs to your room though. We got a room with a jacuzzi, and the bartender would deliver our drinks to us there that was super helpful. The staff overall were exceptional, and welcoming! Please be aware when booking that the patio's and jacuzzi's are not blocked off from the rooms next door, or the people walking up
And down the stairs.
Beautiful hotel with incredible views - we staying in the Rigaletto suite and the views from the balcony of the Caldera are incredible. This is where they serve a nice breakfast in your room each morning. The room was very spacious with a separate living area, 2 balconies with views, and very comfortable bedroom. The mattress is firm, but still very comfortable. The staff at this hotel are incredible - the most accommodating of almost any hotel I've staying in - which includes some the top, most...
Wondering why this beautiful hotel is so much cheaper than all the others in Oia? It’s a new, stunning property, with spacious, clean, modern rooms, free bottled water (you can’t drink the tap water in Santorini, nor flush toilet paper). Great amenities, a beautiful pool, outstanding included breakfast, and helpful staff that takes care of airport rides, dinner reservations, and more.
The difference is the location. The expensive hotels are cliffside, overlooking the caldera, with startlingly...
My husband and I stayed at the Filotera Suites for our 20th anniversary, and we had an exceptional experience. It's a small intimate boutique hotel. Everything was taken care of. Staff at the hotel went out of their way to aniticipate and understand our needs. The quality of the services and facilities were wonderful. Breakfast was a feast that could have lasted for hours on our very own balcony with one of most spectacular views imaginable. Reception, room service, and the maid service were...
Absolutely loved this place! I can't say for sure Skyfall is better than those absurdly-priced properties in the likes of Oia or Imervigoli, but I don't see how it's not right on par with the best Santorini has to offer. The big price drop - a BIG plus - obviously comes from an off-the-beaten-track location, however I found Pyrgos to be wonderful and peaceful spot to base oneself in the island - and not all that far away from the island's renowned sights. This is especially true if you have your...
Charisma suites is the place to go if looking to stay in Oia. While it is separated a bit from the main city area, you are a quick 5 minute walk to all shopping points and main points of interest (churches/ castle/ dining/ ect). It almost was preferred between my wife and I as we could experiance Oia and separate from the commotion as the sun begins to set and the town packs up with tourists/ cruise liner members. The view of the sunset from our private patio was the best view we have seen on...
The service was amazing! The breakfast was also really good. The hotel is at an amazing location, you’ll be able to experience Oia completely. Definitely would recommend this hotel to everyone.
We got 3 rooms for a family trip and they were all amazing. The property is very pretty, incredibly close to everything in Oia, and the staff were really helpful and great at communicating with us!
This was such a nice little oasis. Beautiful and spacious room with private hot tub area.
Well located, 10 min walk from main square and bus station.
Welcoming was really nice, I highly recommend.
Everything we hoped for in a 3 days stay. Beautiful hotel, great location, already planning a trip back. This was our 5th time in Santorini and by far the best accommodations. Thank you for creating an exceptional experience!
Airport transfer says this is the best hotel out of all the 2500 hotels on the island; Alexandros is a local guide and he knows the island very well. He was not wrong! Already dreaming of going back when more sun and less wind and rain. Most important thing to know regarding travel-Athens airport requires you to claim your luggage and recheck your bag for security purposes (despite having checked your bag through to final destination) else they will store in lost and found until you file a...
We had an amazing 5-night stay in Akrotiri! The hotel offers the best views—absolutely breathtaking. The restaurant food was delicious, and breakfast was excellent every morning. Everything was comfortable and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santorini!
