New-looking hotel with clean rooms and a good breakfast. The only issues were that the TV/cable was not working throughout the hotel and the Wi-Fi login was inconvenient — I had to get a special code from the front desk to connect.

8/10 Very good

Our one night stay was great and the room was spacious enough for my family. Lots of space to move around and the bathroom was spacious for my family since 2 of them are disabled. The only issue was the elevator was not working the next day so I had to help my mom down the stairs since she has limited vision. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and everyone was happy.

Alec at check in was fantastic, very informative and helpful. The room was superb, very spacious and clean. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles, the poor maintenance guy tried his best to make sure everything ran smoothly when it wasn't even his job, whilst the lazy so and so at reception did nothing to help, her attitude was very poor and hopefully the hotel will sort that problem as everything else was outstanding.

10/10 Exceptional

I selected the Springhill Suites Hotel in Cottonwood because it was more reasonably priced than hotels in Sedona, which was our ultimate destination. It ended up exceeding expectations, as Sedona was unexpectedly very crowded and staying there would have been a nightmare. Cottonwood was small and manageable with a cute historic downtown and many dining options. The hotel itself was in such pristine condition that I asked the staff member at the front desk how long it had been opened, as there was not a scratch on the walls nor a scuff on the floors. I expected to hear that it had been open 5 or 6 months, so was very surprised to hear that the hotel had been open for 4 or 5 years. The maintenance of this hotel was excellent. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning, which included a wide variety of breakfast items.
