This place is cool but - and maybe this is obvious - EXTREMELY beer-centric. If you’re super into beer, you’ll probably love it. If you aren’t, it’s still fine, just probably not ideal. Also, there’s no elevator from the ground floor.

Fabulous stay

Great 4 night stay. Room is extremely spacious and has everything you could need for a break. It’s quirky and fits so well with the BrewDog theme. There’s also a large, comfortable communal area for guests. The breakfast was delicious! Staff are all friendly and professional. Fantastic location being so close to the station and many of the tourist attractions.

The BEST place to stay in Edinburgh

Miko and his staff are THE best. This is the only place we will stay in Edinburgh! It is right off the Royal Mile and walkable from the Tram or train. Lots of pubs and eateries close by, but BrewDogs has great food and drinks. The rooms are clean, spacious, quiet and feel like home. The atrium is a bonus with coffee, candy, and a wonderful seating area. Breakfast is included and so are complimentary drinks at check in. The staff are so friendly and you can’t help but want to just hang out with them. Staying at BrewDogs is like staying with family. We loved it so much we stayed at both the beginning and end of our trip.

Excellent hotel experience - MUST STAY!

I can't stop talking about our amazing stay at BrewDog DogHouse Edinburgh! We arrived 1 hour prior to check-in and, although our room wasn't quite ready, the friendly staff greeted us with smiles and welcome beers. I've never felt more welcomed to a hotel before! We were later escorted to our room and walked into what felt like a palace. I've never stayed in such a well thought out, clean, sexy room. I'm not the type of person to take pictures or videos of my hotel rooms, but they're also usually not this impressive! I immediately recorded a walk-through video of our entire room - nay, LOFT APARTMENT - and you can hear my giddy excitement as I explain every detail. (I'd upload said video here, but it looks like the review only accepts photos) My husband and I were so excited to see a kitchenette, place for a keg, snacks and drinks for purchase, a shower beer fridge (!!), and a record player. The city of Edinburgh has a lot to offer, but man was it hard to leave our amazing room. There was also a sign telling us that if we reused our towels, we would get 1 token/day for a free beer to be redeemed at one of the 2 (!!) bars onsite. All of these little touches made for a fantastic stay. The piece de resistance was probably the included daily breakfast. We ordered it via room service the first morning and luxuriated in the offerings. AND, there's a 24/7 candy buffet in the atrium, which I have to say we used EVERY DAY. 11/10, five stars. We are spoiled for other hotels now!

OMG!! MiKo and the Brew Dog crew are the best! They are friendly, have excellent attention to detail and treat you like family. You don’t want to leave. The room is more like a studio; I could have moved right in and loved it! The room is quiet and the atrium is such a lovely touch. And the bar has a great beverage selection. I highly recommend both ciders. And to make it harder to leave they provide breakfast and even call you a cab when you need it. We honestly hated to leave and will definitely be back!

Excellent kind enthusiastic staff and new manager. Wonderful accommodations with little extras everywhere (even the guitar in the room was tuned). Loved the breakfasts and appreciated the location... so close to everything Edinburgh!
