A good staycation getaway weekend.

The floor in the room was quite dirty along with the shower.Other than that we loved it. Friendly,easy check in,our fridge went out the replaced it in 5mins.We loved the activity for kids and that it had a indoor pool .Being right across from a winn dixie was convenient.We do miss the hotel diner though.The views are amazing.Dolphins in the morning.Kids love catching sand fleas.Drinks are reasonable at the tiki bar which is great with hoe hot it gets here.Overall good stay.We will be back again

Not recommended

The room was infested with roaches. I did call on this and they said they came up and sprayed. We even bought raid at the store across the street but when we packed up to leave, one ran across the kitchen counter. The bunk bed area beds don’t fit correctly and the lack of caulking makes it a great hiding place for the bugs that you can’t get to. There was brown fluids down the wall, the seals to the outside door on the patio are non-existent. The air conditioning unit runs a puddle of water to the balcony with mold present. They run a dehumidifier in the room but when I went to empty it, it’s full of mold. The pool light has come out and wires are loose in the pool. There’s a scum around the ring of the pool. The putt-putt is just one flat surface area with multiple holes but not well kept. There was some yellow tubing line and a sink hole, maybe drainage issue. If it weren’t non-refundable, I would’ve canceled. We are hot rooming bags just to not bring home visitors.

Stay was ok. Hotel floor had sand all over. Understanding it is the beach, but thinking floors should be cleaned upon arrival. Went to make my son pasta and went for a bowl in the cabinet and long curly hair hanging from the bowl. Cleanliness in rooms need a little bit of work. Frontdesk service at check in, excellent and clean and inviting. Disappointed that the gift shop and diner was gone. Prices going up and less amentiies at the facility.

Weekend at Perry's

We loved the upgrades to rooms and grounds! Beds were very comfortable. The beach side grounds were almost complete, can't wait to come back to see them completed! Not many Food options at the hotel, just doughnuts, coffee and juices in the morning, but IHOP is across the street along with Winn Dixie and Salty Pints.

Needs updates

I was unable to get out of the room because the door to the room had expanded so much due to the humidity. They did respond quickly and sanded down the top of the door but later that afternoon the same thing happened and they came back again and shaved more of the door off. The hotel is dated and could use bathroom updates and they should replace the wooden doors to enter the rooms.

Accidental Perfection

We had booked another place, but upon arrival, learned that die to a fire we could not stay. We quickly began looking for another place, and we ended up here. It's right next door. This was a wonderful place. We had a huge room, on the ocean, with a pool right outside our door. It was one of 3 pools on the property. We loved the grills. We were able to cook on the grill, eat at the table outside, and still see the beautiful beach. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. They were prompt in getting us more towels and linens. No breakfast is available but IHOP is right across the road as is Winn Dixie. It was a very lovely stay. I think we have found a new family favorite

Great Place for Beach R and R

Perry's Ocean Edge Resort is mine and my wife's favorite place to staybin Daytona Beach. The staff are always so friendly and polite and want only to make your stay as wonderful as possible. The parking can be tricky especially if your have a larger vehicle. Can be quite noisy at night with people but that is not the fault of the staff or place. All in all, it is still a great place to stay.

Great stay

Going to Perry’s is always a fun trip. Great service and comfortable rooms. If I had to pick a negative it would Kelsey who checked me in. I’ve been going to Perry‘s longer than she’s worked there, and she continued to contradict me at the front counter when I knew better about my information. She continued to try to have the last word and be correct instead of taking the time to listen to me. Other than that, the trip was awesome.

No repeat stays here

All the pools were oily on top and sand at the bottom, including the hot top. The beach access was nice, but unlike other resorts in the area, no chairs or tents are on offer. The room itself was not overly clean and the pull out sofa was rusted and stained. Water pressure and AC were good. Our room was vlose to the elevators and they dinged all night long, like they were in the room with you.

Hotel for parties not for vacations

The staff was curious on check in and interaction with maintenance staff throughout the 2 night stay. We stayed in the family room with the bunk beds as I have 2 kids under the age of 10. The room itself was clean on the surface, but clearly not cleaned with much care. There was a pretzel in the crack of the bunk beds, water damage to the floor by the mini fridge, trash debris behind the toilet. Our initial set of towels had stains on them. They did replace them quickly and apologized. I know this hotel isn’t a high end hotel nor came in with that expectation, but the reality is what you pay is what you get. If you’re in a 20-25 age range and are out with friends just having a good party trip then this hotel works. The option of the indoor pool is pretty cool but it’s loud and the water was cloudy and felt dirty. I would not stay here again for a family vacation.

Good location, in desperate need of a facelift

Couldn’t get clean/dry towels if we tried. Had to track down someone and go to the front office. Each time they only sent up one or two towels for a family of 4. Phone didn’t work, couldn’t call operator. Positives: it was close to the beach and kids had fun at the pools (indoor and outdoor).

Last time ever

Had a reservation for over a week. Show up to check in and room was not ready at the check in time. Was not offered a later check out or anything to compensate. Show up to the room once it was and it’s already covered in sand. Beds were full of sand as well, like the housekeepers just blew it off with their mouths and put the blanket back on top. Pools were poorly taken care of, seems like their solution is to just add more chlorine. Left the indoor pool and jacuzzi with irritated skin. Only good thing going for this place was the doughnuts that are available in the morning.
