The stay was fine. It was easy to get on and off I-95. However, I’ve stayed at this hotel two years in a row while traveling and I’m disappointed that the hot tub was not available both times I was there. The first time, it was open but the water was lukewarm. The second time it was completely closed. I typically travel long distances so it’s nice to have a hot tub to recover. I have it a second chance this year, but this will be the last time I stay. Very disappointed.
Also, I don’t agree with the pet fees. I know the fees are there because people can’t clean up after their pets. But, there should be a deposit system. Put a deposit down on your pet, hotel checks the room at the end of the stay and returns the deposit if everything is okay. My dog comes into my room, maybe eats his kibble then sleeps. No damage, no barking, etc. and I’m not the person that does the “fake” service dog thing to get free pet fees. I don’t think it’s right to the people who do have service dogs for a specific reason.
