Staff during check in was awful and extremely limited parking. Room and bathroom with hair all over, dirty floor and bedding very wrinkled and looked like was used already.

Nice hotel. Clean room and staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a severe thunderstorm on the Sunday and that did something to our toilet, it wouldn't flush properly...we made them aware at checkout on Monday. Breakfast was mediocre, not a fan of the corn beef hash nor the cheese omelets (it was like cheese whiz). My only BIG complaint is the fact that no one (Hotels.com or the Hotel itself at check-in) told us that they charge a $15 parking fee for each night on top of what you booked. It came to me as a surprise when I looked at my bill after leaving. Had I known that, I would have looked for somewhere else as the prices were already steep for the weekend at a Best Western.

The property is fine, it's just very noisy, with Hwy 1 right next to our room. We had the nicest room in the hotel, but it's also the closet to the highway. Just a few minor issues...lampshade broken, weird furniture layout, very noisy bedroom door.

The room was very clean, although a bit small. A larger chair or small couch would have been preferred for relaxing at night. Staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was a bit lacking in choices. Maybe a yogurt bar using the options there already for oatmeal toppings?? Sausage, bacon or hash browns would add some nice variety.

Staff were excellent, courteous, and generally cared about you !! Rooms were clean, beds were “OK” not terrible I’ve slept on worse !! It’s just a rule of thumb, never expect a hotel bed to be the same as yours at home 👍 The biggest amenity this hotel has to offer and was such a life saver for us was they serve breakfast every morning 😊 That was awesome and it was good food and you had different things to choose from every morning!! NOW, the difference between BW Historical Inn from BW Bay Front Inn is location !! Bay Front Inn is in the “Heart” of all the action !! You don’t have to worry about paying additional parking every time you want to go somewhere, everything is in walking distance !! Bay Front Inn doesn’t offer that awesome breakfast every morning like the Historic Inn does BUT the Historic Inn is only in walking distance to the Oldest Jail & the Fountain of Youth, you want to go anywheres else you’re going to have to drive and pay for additional parking !! SO, both BW Hotels in the Historic District of St. Augustine are great one offers a convenience the other doesn’t, it will be up to you to decide what you’re willing to give up 👍 For my Wife and I, not having to worry about driving and paying to park all the time is everything!! Yes, you can take the Trolly but we don’t like to be on a time schedule, Bay Front Inn is in walking distance to everything, you don’t like using public restrooms ?? just walk back to your hotel, Convince is Everything !!

The staff was amazing and actually connected us with a local tour guide who was aweseome - ask for Lloyd! He mafe our stay memorable! Rooms were updated and clean. Only things that could be improved is the breakfast (not a lot of options) and no workout room. Overall great experience though!

Room was clean and appeared remodeled fairly recently. Shower diverted did not allow full hot water, however, which is ok if you like lukewarm shower. Breakfast lacked meat and could do with a little more fruit like bananas. Decaf coffee was lukewarm and no microwave in breakfast area with which to heat it up. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room is dark and a bit depressing. It is more like a motel than a hotel. Even though you drive in and park in front of your room, they still charge you for having a car. There are no drawers, just shelves.

Check-in was a breeze and staff was very friendly. Room was okay for a one night stay. However, it did have a mildew smell and noticed some fixtures with rust and a few black spots in the shower ceiling. Had the room been in better condition air quality wise would have been a higher rating. Waffles were delicious at breakfast.
