After traveling 1300 miles across Brazil on a bus I arrived at the Tcharles the security was very rude extremely not welcoming I don't know if it was because I was black or didn't speak Portuguese either way they were very rude very nasty their other guests were afraid to approach the door because I was waiting for my food that was late so I told the security that I will wait inside so I didn't bother any of their guests well when the food arrived I went to go back outside the security absolutely refused to open the door I left the very next morning hungry and tired from not sleeping all night very stressed out because of that interaction with the security upon me checking out they didn't check me out I was supposed to stay for five days I stayed for one night they charged me for five days please take my advice and do not even bother staying at this place it's very low class and after that experience I will never stay with any Hotel affiliated with the Tcharles of São Paulo

If you don't plan to use the swimming pool, it's better to stay at a proper hotel. Uploading the requested documents is a time-consuming and unreliable process. I arrived at the property close to midnight and wasn't sure whether I was registered or not.Congratulations on making efficient use of the space, but the table at the foot of the bed creates a claustrophobic feeling and makes it difficult to move around the bed.

Terrible communication, rooms dirty, front desk staff with minimum, if any, intention to help. The communication only by wapp makes everything hard and delayed. Bugs in the bathroom made me complain twice, they tried to fix without lucky and could not switch my room due to lack of availability. Had some family visitors who went to visit me but they could not get in because they would need to be registered through the website and run all the hustle online, we had to stay outside, which is not the best safety option. Location is great but service and staff made my experience terrible.

This place wasn’t what I thought it was, it’s more of a studio apartment in a residential building. It’s modern construction but the unit I stayed in 1606 needed repairs. It has lovely views of the neighborhood though. Also everything is done through WhatsApp, unfortunately my check in information was never sent and when I showed up to reception they had no idea about anything , the reception is just there for the residents. But they had a nice gym and pool. And the door to the unit if an electronic lock which you are supposed to get a code the day before..supposed to anyway.

Be careful when booking Charlie properties. In my case, they contacted me the same day I was supposed to check in to inform me that I had to stay at Charlie Pinheiros due to “emergency maintenance,” which was 25 minutes away from the original location. This happened just before I boarded my 7-hour flight to São Paulo, which arrived at night, so I had no chance to complain. The rooms were smaller, of lower quality, looked cheaper, there was no iron, the bathroom ventilation was noisy, and the ceiling was stained with moisture. After they promised compensation for staying in a completely different place than the one I had booked, they only refunded a small part of the first night. I honestly felt scammed. I recommend not taking the risk of booking one of their properties and then being suddenly moved to another location.

My previous stay in the same property 2 years ago was excellent. This time, the room seemed a little dated. It smelled of mold upon entering, bathroom shower had a broken tray so the bottles had to stay on the floor and dingy walls. The worst part was the lack of communication. I needed to extend my stay last minute and they never replied to any of my messages on WhatsApp, and the worse was when my brother and wife, came with me in order to assist with my check out could not enter the lobby, not even to wait for me there. Embarrassing and unjustifiable. They had valid documents, if asked for, and were there just to help me in the lobby to take my luggage, so this is not a justifiable security reason. I would not be using any of the Charlie properties again when visiting Brazil.

Very weak

No refund for 8 nights..... when I've checked in the bathroom was in pieces, the flat was dirty. I was obliged to book another hotel. I tried to cancel the reservation for 8 nights paying a show off one night. No way to get in contact with the responsible, no reception. After 2 hours conversation with a very weak chatbot with pictures and all. Hotels.com could not help also took the whole weekend to get me a vouch for 75 Eur. I paid 450 Eur At the end Charlie sent me a message to check out and also a weird receipt with a wrong amount of money!!! It is a very bad The chabot is the only way to communicate to Charlie . This is not correct it was written that it was cancellable but it was not. Look up for this place.
