This hotel is tucked away in a quiet portion of the French Concession and served me well as a jumping off point to explore the city. Metro users note Line 1 is just around the corner about 4-5 minutes walk and is much closer than Zhaojiabang Rd. stop on Line 7/9. They also provide complimentary bottled water in the elevator lobbies, so it is super convenient to grab some when headed to your room.

Nous avons eu le plaisir d’avoir notre chambre de bonne heure à notre arrivée. La communication avec la réception est limitée en raison de la langue mais nous avons était bien accueillie. Je trouve l’hôtel un peu défraîchit dans les partie communes , les salles de bains. Chambre ok La propreté des salle de bain peut être améliorée. Je remercie beaucoup l’hôtel pour avoir rembourser une nuit car nous sommes partis avant la fin du séjour. Dans l’ensemble très bon rapport qualité prix. Nous reviendrons. Le seul point vraiment noir les travaux de rénovation ou grandissement ?!? qui font du bruit dès le matin même pendant la semaine de congé férié d’octobre ! alors que le quartier est super calme !!!

This is a great hotel situated in an interesting part of Shanghai. My room was large, comfortable and very quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and good value. About 3 minutes walk to main subway lines and one of the major streets in city center Hengshan road.
