Villa Mariale is conveniently located, within walking distance of the Sanctuary of Lourdes. Our hotel was suitable despite a few downsides concerning a broken shower head and a defective toilet flusher. Both were repaired by the end of our stay. The receptionist was very helpful and informative; she explained the consequences of the 2013 flood and the background history of the building of our hotel. Ametivet

Horrible

Un hôtel qui ne mérite pas d’étoiles… sols en lino, abîmés, prises débranchées, trous au murs, murs en carton (on entend les voisins, les portes qui claquent…). A noter : il n’y a plus de sauna, plus de depuis le Covid (ça fait 4 ans que ces équipements ne sont plus présents et les photos sont encore là …) Cet hôtel ne mérite même pas d’exister

horrible receptionist😢

It was a horrible check-in to start with. we landed late in Lourdes that’s why the reception is closed. 48 hrs before our flight I informed them that we will be late. I didn’t receive any reply from the hotel. anyway when we arrived at 10pm, the reception left a letter on the door and there was instructions on how to get to our room. She said the room was unlock and we can find the keys inside. When we went up and tried to open the door, it was locked. It’s already late and we are all tired. and we can’t find our keys. Fortunately I found an emergency number and tried to call that number. He finally gave us the keys at 11pm! The next day I met the receptionist and she said that they wouldn’t clean our room but since we are staying for five nights she will change our towels but unfortunately it didn’t happen until we checked out! And lastly on our check out day, she said we can leave our luggages in a room near the reception and we should come back before 12noon because they are closing between 12-1pm, We arrived around 11:30am and the reception was close and we cannot find her. Our bus going to the airport is coming in 15 mins. and our luggages are still locked in the room. It was a stressful stay in that hotel and I promised myself never come back again!

No WiFi, no TV that works, won’t stay again.

We booked for four days. We reported problem in the bath - which was resolved. The biggest problem was not having wifi in the room. One has to go to the reception to get some signal which isn’t convenient for us. The TV didn’t work either. We asked to change rooms where perhaps these issues are not there - but they said no. Not the most friendly reception staff.

Great Stay at Villa Mariale

The hotel is not far from the Basilic and the main streets. The room is not a 5 star but it was good. The lady at the reception, Florence was very helpful and provided all relevant information. I will go back to Lourdes and I’ll book Villa Mariale again if available.

Bien sauf le frigo

Hôtel près de la basilique, facile d'accès à pied, pas loin de la gare également. Seul souci, des branchements bizarres et des interrupteurs très loin du point d'accès habituel. Frigo bruyant car pas de circuit d'air suffisant pour une bonne ventilation. Surchauffe et production de glaçons en excès.

Villa bien située et propre mais manque de confort au niveau du couchage petits lits (alèse plastic), couvertures pas de housse de couettes; pas de canapé au salon, un lit ouvert qui ne doit pas être refermé; La gestionnaire a l'air débordée ce qui se ressent dans la relation client.

Tout était très propre, mais établissement assez vieillissant. Nous avions le nécessaire pour cuisiner de base. On nous a « surclassés » dans un appartement 2 pièces, mais c’était un appartement pour handicapés avec une douche qui mouillait tout le plancher de la salle de bain : pas très agréable. Les 3 lits n’étaient pas super confortables non plus. Par contre, l’accueil de la jeune Aljcea était formidable. Nous avons apprécié que ce soit à distance de marche du sanctuaire et facile de sortir en voiture (si on évitait le secteur du sanctuaire).
