Clean but not comfy

My room was clean and there was some updates. The bed was horrible. It felt like I was sleeping on sub flooring. The pillows gave up on being an actual pillow months ago. They were flat and hard. I didnt sleep well at all, and woke up every hour. The walls are thin and you can hear people talking. Someone had a late night and made popcorn in their room at 2:30 a.m. I could smell it in my room and i had no neighbors. I would love to stay again but the bed and pillows need to be replaced. It was a rough night for me

Noisy

Seems like it needed some TLC. Second story walkway had a "soft" spot. Not sure why. Tub area inside our room kind of creaked. Metal platform for the bed made all kinds of noise if you bumped it with your shoe.

Had a good stay.

The room was clean, beds were great. The carpet needs to be replaced but overall everything was a value for the price. Our first room was too hot so the manager switched our room and it was so much better. He is a good manager very efficient and vey nice and accommodating. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety.

Super overpriced. Nothing like pictures. Felt like a crack motel. Some sort of animal feces in the room. Advertised as a completely different room and when we got there we were given a very different room that cost way more than we were told.

Decent Stay

Staff was very friendly and did a quick check in. The parking lot is very crammed. The room is okay cleanliness wise, just old. But we did find a huge beetle/roach in our bathroom.

An older property, close to downtown Cheboygan

It's an older property, and generally well kept and clean. The air conditioner struggled to reach the bed area from the bathroom sink area and it wasn't even that hot out. The a/c needs to be cleaned. I used some credits on Hotels.com and stayed during the week. Definitely not worth what they try charging on the weekends. The breakfast area was pretty well stocked with decent variety.

We stayed three days and it was a fine hotel for the price. We could have stayed down the road at the $362 per night place, but that was out of the question, budget-wise. This place was responsive to requests and even allowed us to switch to a more accessible room. Parking was good, the rooms were OK - considering the age of the building. Maintenance is an issue there, but again, considering the age of the building, they are trying to keep up.
