I have a fabulous stay ay Hotel Finca in San Nicolas. It was an amazing experience overall from the staff, the food, the amenities like the swimming pool inside. Staying at the hotel feels close to nature as well and I enjoy my stay.

The property is nice. Though you can hear everything in the rooms of the first floor. The ladies that attend and host, lack of general information of the property. Also not so friendly and knowledgeable to answer simple questions or resolve simple requests. I think is more lack of training.

We got a room right next to office check in and you could hear EVERYTHING- super noisy. The beds smelled dirty and there was mold on the roof. There was also a very dangerous step that I tripped over because there is a lack of lights and no signage to be cautious of the step. The check in person being friendly is the only good thing about this hotel.

So much potential!

It is a gem in the city, I arrived late though and there was an event happening so the guard was not particularly helpful. Noticed some dirty on the floor, it must improve. Experience issues with cable thar took too long to be fix. The guest could benefit if mosquito window screen available. I could certainly visit again.

The hotel rooms and property itself are beautiful. Most staff members are extremely helpful and nice. Reasons why I might not stay there again: 1. At check out they had to do a walk thru of the room and they charged us $10 for a key card. 2. The driveway up the the property, is so bad you can consider it off-roading conditions. 3. No elevators and no bellhop. 4. Breakfast is really limited and they charge for simple things like sour cream. (This might just be a me thing) 5. Walls are paper thin. Had a dog barking all night.. 5. Pool was dirty with leaves

I don't know where to begin. The communication with the staff through email was great, I waited only minutes to get a response. What took the cake for me is that when we pulled up it was raining hard and the young lady working the front desk came out with umbrellas holding them for us to keep the rain off of us, that's customer service I've never expected nor received. The rooms are a little on the small side but absolutely clean and well maintained with amazing waterfall showers, the view was awesome as well as the landscaping. Very relaxing atmosphere especially if you love the sound of rain. Being a foreigner that's speaks little to no Spanish having TV service that featured Netflix made me stay more comfortable as I was able to enjoy various shows and movies that either offered English subtitles or audio. We received complementary food and alcoholic beverages. So much more I can say but you get the point. One of my favorites
