Every time I called the reception for help (check leakages from washer) or bring something (clothes hangers, towels) to my room, the staff at the reception will tell me he/she is the only person at the reception and is very busy at that moment, hence, could not attend to me. He/she would ask if I could go down to the reception to pick up things I needed myself. When I’m at the reception, there were no other guests and I’m not sure what the staff was “busy with”. They also took very long to pick up calls when I called them. WiFi in the room was very unstable. It was raining heavily one day and I asked if I could borrow an umbrella. The staff asked for my room number and then told me I couldn’t borrow the umbrella since I was staying there?!?! I was puzzled! I asked if they only loan the umbrella to non guests! She then told me to pay AUD20 fo borrow an umbrella. What? I wanted to borrow, not buy an umbrella!
