It was conveniently located to a convention I was attending at one of the nearby hotels. I would have stayed a third night but I knew that I would have to have my dog that third night and this hotel is not pet friendly.Otherwise it was an excellent value for the money

It gets to 10 as far as location and it's less than 20 feet from the best restaurant in Fort Lauderdale Casablanca Café. The rooms are very big and clean not a lot of bells and whistles yes it's dated and yes when you first walk in you get a big cleaning smell the beds OK and there's just a sheet and a tiny blanket. But for the price she can't beat it
As you can see not much to the room but clean my only complaint is the walls are paper thin you can hear someone's whisper
If you make a lot of noise when you're having sex this is not your hotel you can hear everything

We made reservations with the option to pay upon arrival. Minutes before boarding my plane I received a text from the hotel explaining my card was declined and I needed to pay with a different card right away to secure my room for the night. Luckily my husband, who was not traveling with us, was able to take care of this , since I would be on a plane and unble to complete any transactions while in flight. According to my husband there was quite the language barrier. We arrived after midnight and the front desk attendant was there to meet us. After checking in and getting into our room, we immediately noticed we only had two of the four towels needed. I was able to secure the two additional towels from the front desk attendant before she left for the night. Unfortunately, what I realized too late was the bathroom, had no toilet paper. This stay was only as a quick one night, before a cruise, so the basic bed, lamp, desk was enough for my family of four. The rooms had no oder, was clean, and the furniture, although dated, seemed to be in good repair. The floors were a laminate type flooring, which was generally clean, but we noticed it a bit sandy. (Somewhat expected for a hotel a block from the beach) The bathroom was simple and clean other than some small mold spot I notice around the window seal in the shower. For the price point I was happy with budget friendly option in a great location.

Overnight stay perfectly adequate for this and close to Pharmacy and other outlets for evening food snacks The beach is at the end of the road 100yards. New tower blocks around it only serve to show its art deco exterior and plan is unique and should be preserved. Interior is shabby in places but not enough to say it’s neglected Just wish I win the lottery to buy it and give it the face over it deserves. The surrounding area full of bars marinas and very close to water taxi. Definitely stay here again.

Where do i start? I tried to have an open mind because some reviews are old. Nooooo….the room was dank & dingy. The bathroom-dirty, mildew in the corners of the shower, the shower curtain & hooks were old & dirty. Toilet would love when you sat on it. It smelled funny. You can hear the people in the room upstairs, the a/c hardly worked. The covers on the bed were stained & dirty. I laid out my beach towels that I brought from my home on the bed & that’s what I slept on top of. I tried, and mainly stayed because the beach is about 500 steps away, but don’t.

Location was amazing. Very close to the beach, inland water way, shops and restaurants. The bedding was very clean and comfortable beds. The rooms were nice and spacious. Unfortunately the room had a lot of mold in the bathroom that made me feel quite unwell with respiratory problems. The wardrobes shelves had no fittings so were sitting on the floor. The wardrobe hanger was broken making the wardrobe useless. The walls of the room were covered in dirty hand marks which I spent an hour cleaning when we first checked in. The accommodation had absolutely great potential but needed small repairs to be carried out and a deeper clean of the rooms. I would stay again if the mold was treated but unfortunately I felt quite unwell whilst there.

Had to wait forever at check-in as clerk was busy chatting. Room was ok. Could hear the people above us. No hairdryer coffee maker or micro wave. Pictures were deceiving of the courtyard. It was dingy & lots of smokers sitting there. It was close to the beach and several places to eat was the best thing about this hotel.

Good spot, location is great. Rooms were upgraded and nice. Bathroom was upgraded and nice. Air unit worked well and the bed was good. I think the exterior could use some touch up and the cars blocking the entrance takes away from the experience. Desk attendant was always present and nice. Looking forward to the return of my $100 deposit.
