We booked the room with seaview, however we were assigned to the room at the lower floor at the corner which the interior is quite old and tiny which is quite different from the photos shown on the booking website. The room door was difficult to open as well, we needed to pull it hard. Also, as the weather was bad with thunderstorm on the day we checked in, heavy rain just came into the room from the gap of room door which we needed to use all towels to absorb the rainwater at the room entrance. The facility is insufficient as well, even it does not provide water cups / glasses for drinking water.

Bom hotel, localização ok. Recomendo prestar muita atenção na hora da reserva se você está escolhendo terraço com vista pro mar ou varanda com vista pro mar. Pelas fotos não se percebe bem, mas é bem diferente, os terraços são muito bons, mas compartilhados. No mais ótimos funcionários, atenciosos e prestativos.

Ein Klassiker mit toller Aussicht!

Das Hotel ist ein Klassiker. Allerdings sollte man einige Zimmerrenovierungen in Betracht ziehen. Frühstück und Service sind sehr gut, Lage und Blick auf die Bucht und auf den Etna, sind einzigartig. Man sollte jedoch gut zu Fuß sein um die vielen Treppen zu bewältigen.

Spectacular hotel ❤️

This hotel is spectacular! From you arrive and until you leave, you have the feeling of being appreciated as a guest. You're not just another guest. I asked to have a room with a view to Etna, and surely they gave me a room with a view to Etna. They even let me stay for one more night even though they were closing for the season. The room was stunning. You could sit in the window sill and have a cup of coffee and look at Etna in the morning. The room also had an outdoor space with a beautiful table and two chairs, two sunbeds and a parasol. The breakfast was fantastic and very tasteful with bread, cheese and ham, omelet, a salad, different kinds of juice and fruit and desserts/cakes. They also served different kinds of coffee. Everyone is so friendly and greets you with a smile. They are genuine. It's not a performance or fake. You can easily tell if someone is not being genuine and if it's a fake smile. The people in this hotel are genuine and I get a warm feeling when thinking about how they treated me as a guest. At one point during breakfast, one of the servers said; "Are you ok? You are changing colour",meaning that I was about to get sunburned. As I was going back to my room, he said; "have you tasted the desserts?". I said no and he said "come come" and then he put a few of the desserts on a plate for me to take back to the room. These people care, and I am definitely coming back. I loved this property. It was in a very beautiful location. It's not a very convenient location for walking, you need to take the taxi to get the station station and bus stop was not easy to find. The main area Piazza IX Aprile and shopping area is about 15-20min walk. Isola Bella is really far but doable about 30min walk. The hotel staff was really wonderful and helpful. Lufthansa lost our bag and we didn't get it back until the 3rd day. The staff did everything with calling the delivery guy and airport to see what they can do with speeding up process. The breakfast was delicious. Btw this was there last week before they close for the season November 8-15.

Bel Soggiorno is a model of friendly, sincere and efficient service on top of the stunningly beautiful views, lovely rooms and gorgeously decorated halls, salons and grounds. A collection of uniquely Sicilian decor and gardens plus a delicious breakfast and free parking and a lovely team gave us a tip experience . We stayed twice!

Glamorous hotel at a reasonable price

Beautiful hotel overlooking the Mediterranean. We were lucky to get a room that also faced Mount Etna. The breakfasts were beyond delicious. It was a feast for a king with a wide selection of frittatas, pies, desserts and fruits. Staff were extremely kind, and ready to help. There is also parking on site.

The hotel is located below Taormina, the walk to the center of town is about 15 mins. A big plus is the hotel has parking., Staff was very helpful and even parked my car. The hotel is older with nicely appointed rooms. Beautiful views of the Mediterranean and Etna if you have a clear day. Would stay here again.
