Went for a weekend getaway. Parking was $10 a day but not guaranteed a spot since anyone can park there. The elevators are extremely small. Stayed on 6th floor. Common areas were extremely dirty. Room A/C did not work very well. The water pressure left a lot to be desired. Pool and building is in need of repairs. Not worth the $$ we paid.

I had reserved a king suite with a view of the ocean. Just hours before arriving, they called to tell me that the room I reserved wasn’t available now. It was a surprise for my husband and it started off badly. Ending up getting a king room with a view of the hotel across the street. Ice machine didn’t work, the hallway smelled bad. The hot tub had no water in it. The pool was ok but very cloudy, not well maintained. Overall, this hotel was not well managed or maintained. Nice area. Will probably try it again in the future.

No complimentary breakfast which is clearly advertised on their website. We were told that the hotel was under new ownership and the website was not updated. We asked for comp items from their restaurant or price adjustment to replace the breakfast and were given nothing but a thumbs down. The help was friendly at least. We will stay across the street at the Holiday Inn where they do have breakfast as advertised…

The biggest issue was the AC never cooled. It was very uncomfortable during the night. The hotel is kind of old and shows a lot of wear and tear. The restaurant had more of a twin peaks vibe, not exactly family friendly. But, the location was great. Easy beach access. The staff was friendly. Not a terrible experience but I would not stay here again.

1. The front desk lost my reservation 2. Not well kept , duct tape on the elevator panel, boards missing from decor, no ice machines on the 6 and 1 floor; main elevator too small and the additional was out of order 3. No feminine products available for emergencies, tampons nor pads or wipes. 4. Too many dog apparently there is no weigh limit 5. No adult relaxation areas, the bar and outdoor lounge is right next to the pool ( too small for a resort) full of families, adults couldn’t use it. 6. No outdoor covered areas w ocean views- take a hint from Fajitaville in North Beach. 7. Akward bathroom doors in the rooms ; no privacy.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was great. Staff was friendly. Right on the beach. It is an older hotel which you can tell,, carpets need replacing in the hallways and things need updating but overall a nice place. New restaurant on site was really good,, dinner and breakfast was delicious.

Place was okay, it was nice to have the beach right there. I liked the vicinity of everything. But the bed linens felt cheap and we had to get new wristbands for the pool everyday we wanted to go there. It also could be cleaner, especially the pool. Not sure if this is the hotels fault, but other people that were staying there had zero respect for other people.

07:10:10 Ratting : 1 Check in process was poor at best. I received my confirmation and was sent a link to “pre” check in where I provided all of the info requested to include a copy of my drivers license, credi card info and pre paid for my parking. When I arrived, there was a line of about 10 ppl but no separate line for those of us that at done “pre-check-in”. When I did finally get on the front of line (about 20 minute wait), I was informed my room was not yet checked by the maid supervisor so they could not let me have the keys. I was informed I would receive a call when my room was ready. I walked over the outdoor bar and waited…and waited…and waited for well over an hour. Keep in mind all of my luggage is sitting on a cart in the middle of your lobby a there was no bell service or a place to store my things while I waited for my room! After and hour and a half, I went back to lobby where…you guessed it, I stood in line again for about 20 minutes. The gentleman was very apologetic and said “the other guy went home and I didn’t know you were waiting for a call” and then offered to comp my parking…but I had already paid for it on your link so he offered “very late check-out” . I get to my room and find water all over the floor that I can only assume was from the mini fridge. I then try to step out onto the “ocean facing w/balcony” that I paid extra for, only to discover that I can get the door open! After about 10 minutes of trying…I finally was able to get it unstuck!

Great location! Stayed for a few days and was not disappointed. Balcony view was beautiful. Bed was comfortable and hotel was clean. Definitely will stay here again.

The check in process took nearly an hour of waiting in line. The pool and restaurant were closed. We thankfully were not charged the resort fee because of this. But with two young children, the pool was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. The outdoor shower was not working either, so we had to track a bunch of sand into our room. The initial room we were given did not have a curtain and made sleeping very difficult. We were able to switch rooms after but the room not having the proper setup for sleeping is not acceptable. Additionally, the entry door to the hotel hardly worked and we had to find an alternative entry. There was no signs indicating this issue.
